OK - I’ll take a swing at it. This morning, Mike Church (who has his head buried so far up Ron Paul’s sphincter that he can see the world from Ron Paul’s navel) played the debate clip with Paul’s question to Cain and Cain’s response. He then played the clip of the supposed lie from 2010. What I heard was Cain say in 2010 exactly what he said last night. He didn’t believe an audit would turn up anything, but that anyone who wanted one was free to try. He said a lot of pointless audits are done - of course lest we forget, Cain was the director of a branch of the Fed in KC, which may be somewhat distant to the powers the Chairman has. Anyway, Mike Church then said, “See, Cain lied.” I used to find Church to be a good listen but he has become a Paul worshipper to such an extent that it is sickening. No candidate is perfect on all issues.
I heard the same thing this morning on the Mike Church show. I am a little confused about what Herman Cain said that was so offensive to anyone that wished to audit the Fed Reserve in the past, and how it differed to his answer.
I have really become annoyed with the Mike Church show in the past weeks, and this is one of many examples. I rarely listen to it anymore.
