Here's a trillion dollar deficit question: Where did Iran's Favorite Congress Critter, Ron Paul, get his army of followers ?

It's an important question to ask.

Bloggers can't criticize Paul without having a cross burned on their blog by the RuPaulista SS. (Erick Erickson's RedState has had to ban anyone who wasn't a member for more than six months for mentioning Paul in a post.) Conservative radio show hosts can't utter a peep about Mahmoud AmendinePaul without having his lines jammed up for the rest of the show.

If you ever want to make a Neo-Confederate's head explode, tell them Jefferson Davis also suspended habeus corpus in the Confederacy around the same time Abraham Lincoln did. Well, I’ve got to thank Mr. Sunstein, then. He made me $60 bucks this past week, because I had to explain some of his idiotic regulations regarding “meaningful use” and medicare/medicaid practitioner incentives to upgrade their office to Electronic Health Record systems, and in 18 years of reading convoluted, nonsensical statutes and regs, I’ve never seen a bigger abortion. But I wrote a 500 word piece about it for a blog, and now I can bill and get paid for it. Yay. RuPaul sucks, Sunstein. Send forth your winged monkeys to exact retribution from me.

Assuming your curiosity is genuine, I would like to inform you that most RP supporters I have met seem more like me than any of the disparaging terms used in this thread. I am a life-long conservative, self-educated, non-prejudicial, patriotic, God-fearing, and family-oriented. I see nobody at the rallies that fit your and other's description when using those terms.
