People on twitter are freaking out a bit over Herman Cain saying that “I could not support Rick Perry as the nominee for a host of reasons.” Here’s the clip:

Basically a VP is a senatorial snoot that goes to state funerals and ceremonies.

I like Herman Cain, I REALLY DO, but is he ready as Pres or VP having had stage 4 cancer?

I agree - the increasing hostility on this forum needs to be directed at Obama. And any internal sniping should go to Romney.
I see our chronological objectives as:
Keep Romney from winning the nomination.
Defeat the evil that is the Obama administration.

Mr Cain may have an understanding of Memphis, but he has no understanding of Texas.
Perry could drop dead of a heart attack at any moment, just as anyone could. Just because Cain’s had cancer does not 100% guarantee it will return or if it does that it will kill him. If that’s the case we should just quit treating everyone with cancer because even they survive, they should just be put out to pasture anyway.
Think back to Cheney; several heart attacks and heart surgeries. He was up to the task. And he definitely spent a lot of time attacking the Democrats.

One of the things people like about Cain is that he’s been very positive and avoided dumping on the other candidates. I HOPE this is not changing.

I like Cain a lot, but he has zero experience or record in the fight with the stuff he criticized Perry on.
His vid tonight showed that he tended to agree with Perry, even as he tried to make himself The Great Doer Of Deeds.

I’m so saddened that he would lie like this. He has always been my second choice and I admired him since hearing him on the radio when visiting near Atlanta.

I actually had some one on this thread tell me numerous times that Perry is anti 2nd amendment.
