At that point read Michelle’s big lips as she leans over to Obama and says “ALL THIS FOR A FLAG” and then shakes her head side to side in disapproval while Obama nods his approval of her statement.

What she likely says is “look how they fold that flag.”She then shakes her head in disapproval. Michelle is accustomed to the crisp movements of the US Marine drill team style of folding the flag, employed at the White House, and that Marine detachment always has a minority presence. From MO's point of view, the flag folding was trashy because it did not have the presence of a minority person, who are crisp and drilled while the white trash usually just tag along. Thats my take. MO and BO believe in minority supremacy and that Caucasians are flawed, uncoordinated.Its a part of who they are as witnessed by their involvement with Rev. Jeremiah Wright for over 20 years.
She was right as to the non-crispness, but those men are not drill team people, they spend their time training to protect the public. What it says about MO is that she is out of context, and you must admit that it appears that not one of the flag folders was from any racial minority. You have to know the mind set of the minority power nationalist-socialists of which BO and MO are a part. Her criticism is partially couched in the fact that there apparently was no minority member on the flag team, and the fact that they were not mechanically drill precise in the lock step so admired by fascists like MO and BO.Seig Heil!
Yes both MO and BO are out of social context, they are quite isolated from normal America in the way they see and perceive things in general.The colloquial way to express it is that they are “out to lunch” or “ out of touch.”They are actually ignorant of main stream America and its values.
They both are not “one of us.”They even perceive things much differently than we do, as if they actually are from another planet. That makes them all the more dangerous. Neither would know truth even if they fell over it.
They will always have an axe to grind based on their skewed perceptions and large CHIPS on their shoulders. Many of us have seen this tyope of thing in overly sensitive people who do not seem to perceive common meanings in gesture or ceremony at school or elesewhere.They often fly off the handle for no apparent reason.
I read her lips as saying: “They should have washed the flag”

Not really. I’ve known deaf people, and they may be able to make a few words out occasionally, but it’s far from perfect.
You find me a deaf person and I will read to them. I guarantee they won’t hit even a 10% correct transcription rate. I dare not call another a fool either.

I lurked on this site a long time before I became a contributor, and that day I signed up? I have been donating to this site ever since. I am sure that unless I personally offend Jim Robinson, or support a pro-abortion candidate, I’m probably going to not be zotted. I was reading this site when Kim Du Toit had his original gun site up, I bought his t-shirts. I even argued with him on occasion (ticked him off too). But I never troll. But I do tend to have a soft spot for responding to trolls like you.
Has it been repealed yet? Did I miss it? I’d like it to be repealed, but we are stuck with it.
I always like your types who go through posting history, and then pronounce yourself zot king. I am a realist. I’ve been around for a while, maybe not as long as you, but I can always smell detestable legislation that we will never be able to get rid of.
Our nation does not have a history of repealing entitlements. We “reform” them, and then keep them around. Look at Social Security. Look at food stamps. Unemployment benefits. These all were implemented in FDR’s time, or as a result of his socialist experimentation that steered us down the wrong path.
Why do you think this onerous health bill will be anything different?
Actually, yes. Unless you had a shotgun mic or a hot mic close by, and you are holding out on us, you can’t tell me with 100% certainty what she said.
You also can’t convince me her eye-roll was some sort of signal of disgust. I think it was awe, and you think it was disgust.
Since you lack:
(a) the hot mic that could prove it out, either way.
(b) The shotgun mic that captured the magic moment
(c) Telepathy
...I seriously doubt your opinion is worth anymore than mine. You may get more kudos on FR for claiming the first lady was insulting the flag, but in the end, you have no earth shattering revelation to sell Fox News or any other member of the press -— and this would be a hot story had you the proof.

(a) call me a fool
(b) put words in the first lady’s mouth due to your near telepathic ability to read lips with 100% accuracy.

It is if you know the context and a large index of previous content within that context. A football coach calling a play is one of those times, I can agree.
But I don’t think there is enough context in this case.
Just my 10 cents.
I do think Lady Obama could have avoided any second guessing, by just being solemn and quiet during the observation, no matter how awe struck (or bored/disappointed, if others are correct).
I plead ignorance. Unlike a lot of Americans I did not watch any of the 9-11 ceremonies on Sunday. I did not know the circumstances behind the flag or the folders-—I barely glanced at them on the video and I thought they were military personnel, the ones that practice this drill a million times. I now see that they are firefighters/police officers doing the best they can-—as I said before, they look sincere. I obviously goofed and spoke too soon.
