I know exactly what you mean when you say you’re too sensitive to this type of material. For a long time I got pornography into my email. Not photos because I wouldn’t open them but disgusting subject lines. I felt like I was being tortured! Luckily, my husband came to the rescue and now I’m only bothered by friends.
One of my oldest friends was tortured and abused by a step-father and became a multiple personality as a result, along with being a rank Socialist (which I pity her for). Her wits and flat out Mensa smarts have helped her greatly.
I really like the comment of LOLcats that “I cannot unsee.” I remember seeing pix of Liz Taylor and Brooke Shields at the same age. Now, the ages are being lowered even, and, to be frank, I think these people coming up with such ideas should be sent to Mars.
As a teenager many years ago, I remember being in a car with a retired LEO, who was driving. He went on a rant about how “it’s like people aren’t people anymore.” The topic was about crimes against young people. The days of my feral childhood, being interrupted only by lunch and dinner, running, biking and whatever, all over creation in the neighborhood, are long gone.
