>> you’ve got good insurance coverage <<

You are right! Sometimes in life, I feel, one has to do what is right and not cower. I feel very strongly about Sarah and our need for her to lead us out. This very well maybe our last chance.

This is not the first time I’ve put my life and assests on the line for this country and will keep doing it till the day I rejoin my wife.

***** What was your purpose in posting this? *****

The OP is acting like a troll.

I suppose the OP has “won” since the posts are in the 100 range as of 815 pm West Coast time

Did the OP even respond to any of the dozens of replies directly to the OP?

The funny thing about sock puppets is that they're so boring.

Do tell. You get more mileage and satisfaction out of making fun of them, than trying to seriously engage them. Once I figure out that I'm dealing with a complete looney tune, my whole demeanor changes to one of fun and games.

So anyhow, I had to take my bike in for an oil change and check up. It's so hot it felt like riding in a blast furnace.

Sounds like no fun. I work outdoors, so believe me, I'm a big fan of air-conditioned days off at home. Other than helping Mommy unload groceries this morning, I haven't stepped foot out there. Been freepin' all day like a lazy bum ;-)

Hope your cat is better.

Good for you!

I thought I’d ask because when you hear about cars being keyed (over bumper stickers) or lawn signs being vandelized, it’s always the lib/progressive fascists damaging the property of conservatives. When a liberal/commie suffers a loss, they’ve often damaged their own property to set up a false “hate crime.”

Nobody has messed with my truck. That might be because of all the military stickers and the fact that I bear an uncanny resembelance to “Shrek.”

Then you apparently did not see her interview with Meghan Kelly yesterday, or the day before when she said she did not see anyone currently declare that she could suppo No, I haven't seen it yet. I think I'll try to listen to it now.

Here's a politico report from someone who saw it. I don't like Politico, but I've seen it used to attack Perry, so what the heck. Sarah Palin leans on executive experience

In multiple Fox appearances yesterday and last night, Palin hit the executive experience message hard, telling Megyn Kelly that the country can’t elect another “inexperienced president who made a lot of promises.”
...
There’s only one candidate in the race right now who fits the description of conservative leadership Palin has outlined. That’s Perry, who also turned down some stimulus money and earned Palin’s endorsement in his 2010 gubernatorial primary fight with Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison. (Michele Bachmann, notably, fails the “executive experience” test.)
That would be a strange article to write for an interview that said she couldn't support anybody currently running.

I've got a slow connection and can't get the video to load up right now, and nobody has a transcript that I can find.

Has anyone noticed that we have a post #90 1/2 on this thread? When you click on the poster’s name, you are directed to Palin’s FB page instead of the poster’s account. Do we have a hacker on board?

After dealing with the heat, the Mrs and the puking cat I’ve been pretty unproductive. I need to get on with a research paper; but a headache brought on from the heat was increased exponentially by the other stressors...

It's an easy HTML trick. Anyone can do it with a little practice.

It’s a sort of “Harry Potter” thing. Check with the poster of #91.

Oddly enough, a reply to 90 1/2 goes to freedumb2003.

I had a dream last night in which Palin said she was running.

Don't know what to think of it.

ROMEO: I dream'd a dream to-night.
MERCUTIO: And so did I.
ROMEO: Well, what was yours?
MERCUTIO: That dreamers often lie.

Shakespeare's statement is a paradox, like, "This statement is false." Romeo dreams that all dreams are lies. But if that is true, then his dream is also false, so dreams must be true.

You should be careful or you'll run out of exclamations for when someone really posts something nasty and demeaning.

Three separate low notes? Every day people post how excited the are that Palin is toying with the media, playing with them, making them dance to her tune. That's supposedly a selling point for her candidacty, how she drives them crazy trying to guess what she is going to do.

The only think said that hasn't been said approvingly all the time here was the addition of hte words "and her 'base'". Yes, them's fighting words, but "nasty"?

Factually, she is telling her base that she has not made up her mind yet. She also keeps doing things, which she has every right to do, but which her base keeps taking as proof she is running, even while she keeps insisting that SHE doesn't even know yet what she is going to do.

I don't think she is toying with her base, I think they are toying with themselves. But if you believe she has already MADE the decision to run, and acknowledge that she is publicly saying she has NOT made that decision, the phrase "toying with her base" would be within the realm of possibilities for describing her actions.

So argue the point, point out the lack of proof for the statement. But it's still to pretend this is some nasty, vicious slander.

I'd almost say that claiming Sarah Palin is certainly running and just pretending she hasn't made up her mind yet would be more of a slander.

a headache brought on from the heat

Take sea salt tablets and potassium. They'll prevent that symptom, as well as: dizzyness, vertigo, fainting, extreme exhaustion, cramps, cold chills, etc.

A nutritionist educated me on this many moons ago, and I've been taking them during hot weather, ever since. Take one sea salt tablet for every 25 pounds of body weight.

You can work outdoors in the heat all day, and never suffer the ill effects of heat sickness, if you try that.

Where are the "Palin isn't running" Brigade? I'm right here. Haven't gone anywhere.

What, did she announce yet? Thought not. If she does, so I'm wrong. Who cares?

I’ve craved foods with these nutrients and ate them. I try to listen to my body and do what I need to do to balance things out.

I’m a cold climate critter and I’m still adjusting to a hot region.

Oh and as for me — I’ll repeat what I said before

Palin, Perry, Bachman, Santorum, Cain.

I’ll vote for any of them in a heartbeat in the general. And I think any of them would be a super POTUS — in sharp contrast to the current TOTUS.

Oh, and I have a question for people with PDS — which is Perry Derangement syndrome, not Palin Derangement Syndrome.

Would you support Perry? Or would you sit on your hands and not vote if Palin didn’t win the GOP nod?

Because I most certainly would vote for Palin if she won and Perry lost the GOP nomination.

Would you do the same in the reverse circumstance?

As for “is Sarah Palin running.” Who knows? She has yet to favor us with an answer.

One thing is for sure: Time’s chariots roll without relent.

The hurricanes are about to return to hibernation. The hours of darkness will soon exceed those of daylight. The leaves are preparing to drift to the ground. Before long, we will see that “the snows fall in the Sierra”, along with blanketing the alabaster plains of Iowa and obscuring the granite hills of New Hampshire.

Time’s a-wasting. Literally.

What say you, Gov. Palin ?

No, something that nasty will probably draw a zot.

Three separate low notes?

Yeah. Count 'em. Three.

Don't know why you got so interested in my post. Did you happen to make comment to the person who made the statement I took exception to? Or, are you trying to puzzle out a defense for that person's ugly comment? Per the balance of your post, it appears that you are.

Frankly, I'm not inclined to argue the minute details with you. You're splitting hairs much too finely for my interest. In a nutshell, this is an exciting and happy time for all of us who support Governor Palin, and her likely bid for the presidency. I'd rather not get too bogged down in the usual verbal fisticuffs with her opposition on this site.

The next two weeks are going to be a time of great anticipation and joy for many of us. Unfortunately, there are some members of this forum who will find that simply untenable, and they will feel compelled to rain on our parade.

We'll deal with that, but now's not the time to re-start all of the long-winded battles of the past two and half years. We've got much better things to do.

Ron Paul I believe has said he will not run third party. If anyone looks to be running third party it is Palin or Trump. Palin does not look to be setting up in the GOP tent.
