The NRA is a one issue organization, as it should be. It promotes and protects the Second Amendment. WHile I may disagree personally with any approval of Reid in general, when it comes to Second Amendment Issues, I trust them.

He is doing what he needs to do and we shall do what we need to do.

They give us the Brady Bill and the Lautenberg gun ban.

They mailed on behalf of 13 of Nanacy Pelosi’s top 25 endangered Democrats.

Yuk.

Try another group like the National Association for Gun Rights.

here’s my updatedated page on Harry Reid and my bio of him. http://www.futurnamics.com/reid.php

By the way, I have a number of new leads on Harry, but they are all frigging mob and fbi people. Scary dangerous people, crap your pants scary. Any support is appreciated, even if it is just to link or forward my website to email lists.

The really funny part is that the Clark County shooting range that Harry and the NRA were having wet dreams over has been bankrupt or in serious management disarray from the get go.

Bingo....The NRA has managed to scare the hell out of enough democrats that they run from gun control. The NRA only gives the politicians stand on gun control thus preserving our 2nd amendment...which is their main function!!!

After careful consideration, the NRA-PVF announced today that it will not be endorsing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for re-election in the 2010 U.S. Senate race in Nevada.

I think the political calculation at the time was that if Reid lost but the RATs retained control of the senate, the new majority leader would be Upchuck Schumer, a devoted gun-hater.

Yeah, they didn’t endorse anyone in the end because a lot of people (myself included) threatened hell on a stick if they did.

that’s some “logic’..

Sure, you donate money the NRA which donates money to TRAITOR DEMS who are out to destroy the country. The Dems preserve the 2nd amendment, but then vote on other social-commie issues with the same money you NRA ass-kissers gave to them in the first place.

NRA has a bad habit of endorsing the incumbent, even if the challenger looks better on paper.

I encouraged my husband to become an NRA lifer, and he did....and we've donated pretty regularly.....but not since I learned that they supported that fat arse, now deceased, in Penn....forget his name....but he basically called our Marines murderers....he was a rat of course....

people can support the NRA and that is just fine....but not for me.....I just can't do it anymore....

The reason I quit the NRA. it may be a single issue organization, but all issues involving liberty are interconnected and cannot be separated. Even Lapierre stated that when the NRA opposed “campaign finance reform” in 2005.

The Democratic party has largely abandoned gun control. When you stop to think about it, the left's retreat on this issue has been breathtaking. The reason for this is the NRA. By focusing only on gun issues and being willing to endorse incumbent Democrats who vote pro 2nd amendment, the NRA has essentially won the gun wars.

Just think about where we were in the 60's, 70's, 80's and even the beginning of the 90's when the gun grabbers were on the offensive and our 2nd amendment rights were under constant threat, now look around you today and witness the gun control crowd is in full retreat - having been utterly abandoned by even many of the most liberal of politicians. We have the NRA's sound strategy and hard work to thank for much of this. Harry Reid is a turd, but I am going to give the NRA a pass on this one considering just how effective they've been.

It’s a gray area and that is you and your hubby’s decision and I respect it. But I have seen so many threads lately that showed the NRA have close to 70% to the most leftist of Dems. The leftover money the NRA lobby gave those same Dems were most probably used to vote for Obamacare.
