Been a lot of talk lately about who would make the best Vice President to serve with President Sarah Palin.
Vice Presidential candidates are chosen for a number of reasons. Often they are chosen merely because they can deliver a state or a region that can help the presidential candidate win. There are better reasons though.
We fully expect Sarah Palin to have a 50 state strategy for victory and while someone from certain regions may be helpful more than others, wed like to see a different criteria.
Anyone who knows Governor Palins record knows she and her team hit the ground running the day she was sworn in as Governor of Alaska, and worked 16 hour days tackling Alaskas problems. We think President Sarah Palin will be looking for someone with strong leadership skills of their own. Someone she can give a portfolio of their own to and help her Revive, Renew, and Restore America.
That said, we have had some requests to do a poll on the question of who should be President Palins VP.
Below are some potential candidates for the job. Well let our readers decide if they fit the criteria THEY would like to see the Vice President have, as well as if the ones listed have the right stuff, as mentioned above.
If you chose Other please leave a comment letting us know who, and why you think they are the one.
The poll will close next Wednesday. We look forward to seeing the results.

Oops, that won’t work with Sarah. Trying to think of a former Gov of either FL, PA, OH, MO, or WI. Maybe Scott Walker. Really watch heads explode, lol.
Like to officially switch my vote from Tom Ridge to Scott Walker. Thx.
I agree...
...but I'd love to see her head up the RNC for life, though.
That’s easy. ME!
There are some fine choices in there and Rubio or West are more that acceptable. A notably absent choice is Jim DeMint.
“Bolton!
Bolton, would make the islamofacists in the middle east squirm and sweat.”
“The socialists that run the U.N. would hate him.”
These are two reasons that we need Bolton as Sec’y of State.
That doesn't seem to matter anymore.
Agreed, Rubio!
Allen West.
Stormin’ Norman!
As long as you are sure by the the time the nomination roll around...
To me this one is easy. And I must say I am surprised that LTC. West, an obvious choice, is in fact being recognized by so many others, relatively speaking.
.
LMAO! He’s rested and ready. Do we know where he is?
Jus Soli....learn your Latin...imfrmdixie2, and I will not vote for Piyush ever again.
North Viet Nam would be dead too if Ol’ Curt had had his way!...and they'd still be digging out of the stone age!...God Bless him!
Apparently you don’t know the difference between a “lecture” and a comment or question.
It is ridiculous on the face of it that the true Republican is a small minority in their party. And the most Leftist Republican is INFINITELY better than Obama.
Condemning the majority of a party when that determines what the party stands for is an meaningless absurdity. Not sharing its view is fine but don’t pretend that the dissenting view is the REAL view of the party.
Working to change that view requires education and rational argument not weak rhetorical devices.
Then they back up a couple of times.
Oh, I know. But there it is. Personally, however, I trust the Colonel’s tactical sense more than I do most FReepers.
Let’s face it. As a segment of the population as a whole, we are extremely well informed and quite intelligent, but we all have our hot button issues.
The Colonel had it hammered into him as a shavetail and later as he rose through the ranks that it is indeed true that “the perfect is the enemy of the good”, that any plan is better than no plan, and that while suicidal charges into the face of machine guns look good on film, they seldom win battles — let alone wars.
West is making his decisions based on what I perceive as a clear understanding of what his ultimate goals are, and from the maxim that while you can’t always get everything you want — and you don’t want to cut off your nose to spite your face by refusing to push the ball three yards down-field when it’s three and five.
I trust the man.
You must not have gotten the word. West is dead to many here. He is now a “RINO”.
