I was a theater major in college in the mid to late 70’s. You start right way studying anti-American or pro-Commie or nihilistic plays in Freshman year such as those by Arther Miller. All your acting and directing classes revolve around crap like that. You get to a point in which you cannot tell that what you are studying as “art” is just commie propaganda.
I had to read "Death of a Salesman" in high school (along with "Catcher in the Rye"). It was a painful waste of time. Then we had to have the usual English class discussion about "what it all means." Eurgh.
