I’d say, if you have the resources/area to do so, you should split your preps into multiple caches so that if the LEOs show up to confiscate your stuff, you give them what’s currently in your house and still have the majority of it in your caches.

Living in earthquake country, I have my emergency supplies stored in different places throughout my home and garage (and car...can’t guarantee to be at home when “the big one” hits.)
