The bulk of the recall elections are on August 9th; the TV will be FILLED with ads this week. It’s going to be ridiculous!

One ‘Rat retained, so far...We CANNOT lose 3 seats, or it flips to ‘Rat control in the House or the Assembly - I forget which.

I’m pretty sure it won’t. Taxpayers are REALLY p*ssed. :)

Diane....In Oshkosh we get Green Bay media, Hopper has been running his own ads, no outside groups helping him. His whole campaign has been hit and miss, he really hasn't come out and addressed his marriage situation, which I guess is a train wreck. This has allowed the dems to run a sub-campaign claiming he's not a family values guy, I'm not sure why that's a big deal considering his opponent.

All the media buys are backing Olson and the the Green Bay senator. Hopper is just now starting a more direct attack against King. It's hard to get much traction as they run an anti-Hopper ad, Hopper's ad and another anti-Hopper ad all in the same commercial break!

Regardless of what anybody says no one knows how these elections will turn out. Anyone who claims to knows is lying. That statement is coming from fairly high-up in the GOP, national org, not state....It will all come down to turnout. While I hate the dems, you have to tip your hat to them I never seen a GOTV effort this strong or organized.

Hopper has 2 things going for him:
1...Voters are really, really upset and will drag them self to the polls
2....College is out of session, less voter fraud.
