Get used to the idea - Romney will be the GOP nominee [newbie must want the zot to post this idiocy]

Posted on 07/25/2011 6:31:50 AM PDT by no gnu taxes

I'm not trying to inflame. I am not trying to troll. I just bring reality. You probably know it's true yourself.

Romney will be the guy.

At this time in 2007, the dreadful McCain was polling in single digits, and fundless. Yet he won the nomination pretty easily. Romney is MUCH stronger right now.

Who will beat him? I tend to doubt Palin will even run. Bachmann will never get establishment support, and the MSM's efforts to trash her are already underway. Cain just doesn't have the impetus. Ron Paul? Well, he's just Ron Paul. The rest are asterisks.

Back who you want. I encourage you. I hope I am wrong, but I won't be (I like Cain). It's going to be Romney vs. Kenyan Mchopeychange. You might as well get used to the idea.

Romney will be Obama’s VP on a fusion ticket as the establishment recoils against the probability that Sarah Palin will be our next President.

I agree. The damage another Dem could do to the Supreme Court, the disctrict courts, and the military is impossible
to contemplate.

You’ve certainly started a lot of bizarre threads in your short time here.

By your logic, Rudy would have been the winner last time. He is the frontrunner going in, like Rudy.

Romney also raised a ton of money last time in addition to spending his own cash, so unless Romney finds a way to win over voters, he’ll end up in 2nd or 3rd place again. More than likely Perry’s entrance will be the death knell for Romney’s campaign. He can suck some of the insider support, money, and will resonate with many less of the less ideological primary voters who don’t pay attention the way we all do.

Yeah. Right.

That’s what the GOP thought when they put Dole up against Clinton in 1996. Anybody could beat a President who had been impeached.

Obama has 35-45% of vote before he gets out of bed: The parasite classes, illegals, ex-cons, ACORN, Unions, Gun-grabbers, Envirofascists, MSM, Crony Capitalists, Banksters, etc. He only has to pick up a few percent to win.

Conservatives have to fight uphill all the way. Doubly so, since we have to fight our “own” party over candidates like Romney.

“If enough real conservatives make it clear we will not hold our noses this time the establishment will back one of our candidates. They are as afraid of an Obama second term as we are. Make it clear that the only way they get conservative support is with a big “C” Conservative candidate. Anything less and we bolt the party. We held our nose for McCain. This year it is their turn.”

With the way Rick Perry panders to La Raza ...

I think your information is dated. When Rick Perry speaks to Latino elected and appointed officials, he is protested outside for being "anti-immigrant" and only given tepid reaction by the participants.

He doesn't sound like a LaRaza panderer to me - Governor Perry supports a bill being considered in the Texas Legislature that would bar cities from providing "sanctuary" to illegal immigrants..

You failed to mention Rick Perry. If he enters, he will take Romney off his high horse.

Believe it.

I’m not voting for rick perry period.

A year of walking back from his previous positions doesn’t say much for his integrity.

I’m just not voting for another lying RINO.

Well good for you. Why not just go over and work for the 0bama campaign, and start donating to him?

How many RINOs has the GOP ran, only to lose? The conservative voting base does not want a candidate that is unrecognizable from the Democratic candidate. If they did, they would be democrats!

Now run along and enjoy your ObamaRomney Care.

That's what everyone thought. But, in fact, he was being funded through other channels by George Soros.

Very few on this forum actually get it. Reality always get kicked to the side with over zealous, sycophantic, hero worship and the infighting completely defeats, what some of us are trying to point out as the obvious.

The Amerikan edjumukashun system has fostered, ushered in a complete new form of Socialism. It is a Godless, lawless (If you can get away with it it's OK) amoral society, that borders on Hedonism.

Every year that goes by, Amerika slip further into the abyss of these new generations, spawned by Darwinian animalistic instinct. Pond Scum is too nice a term for this new form of Human being, that has inherited the once Free World.

I heard that rumor, but is it really true? Do you have a link that shows actual and factual verification?
