Senator James Alesi is a liar.

After voting for the “gay” marriage bill, Alesi said he was “embraced by a priest at mass” for his support.

What Alesi failed to mention is that the priest and his religious community were excommunicated from the Church.

There is no “alleged” to it.

Cuomo (or emissareis of his) sat with some New York fat cats in the GOP, one of who reportedly has a “gay” son.

They asked for the fat cats “support” getting some GOpers in the NY Senate to switch their votes.

Everyone in the Conversation knew that “support” was going to mean the fat cats aid in fund raising for the next campaigns for the GOPers who switched votes, because their usual local funding sources may not continue supporting them after that vote.

It’s all done with a legal wink and a nod. But there is no “alleged” to it. It is payola for votes.

Governor Cuomo and the New York Legislature imposed same-sex marriage on New York with no vote of the people. Voters in 31 other states have been able to decide the definition of marriage for their states, but New Yorkers have been denied that right!

Stand up to protest the redefinition of marriage and demand your right to vote!

If New York is going to change the definition of marriage, it should be the People and not the politicians who make the decision!

Something similar happened here in MA, when the question came up of allowing a referendum on the ballot to limit marriage to one man-one woman. There were 5 Democrats who had said they WOULD vote to allow the referendum, but Deval Patrick, who was running for Governer at the time, and was expected to win, offered them something, I'm not sure what, but all five of them changed their minds. Unfortunately, their constituents didn't seem to even notice, because they were all re-elected without a problem.

So none of the VOTERS in MA or NY had any say in the matter, even though the majority in the polls were against it; the legislators seemed to vote in the way that would enrich them the most.

Words escape me. I cannot believe any Republican who voted for this can ever expect conservative votes again BUT this is NY so the citizens there don't give a rip about anything but themselves. Bad part is that those who won't be able to stand it anymore, instead of hanging tough and working to take back their state, will move South and screw up my corner of paradise. You can tell they are Yankees cause the first words out of their mouth is, “Where I come from, we did it like this.” Right then you know they will whine and moan and vote Democrat until they make their new home just like the hell hole they came from. Damn shame they won't move to California or Nevada or Florida and jump on some of those foreclosed properties. Yep. I'm one of those dumb, uneducated rednecks and I am conservative so according to every moderate, every independent, every union supporter, every liberal, every RINO, I am a racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe (although I don't fear them, I merely detest them) and I'm one of those bitter clingers that drive a pickup with a gun rack. I'm so screwed up, I still pray before a meal, say, Please and Thank you, say Yes sir and Yes ma'am to those older than me, my superiors at work and school and strangers. I try to remember to stand when a lady enters a room and I take off my hat when I go out to eat. So, me and my neighbors probably wouldn't be the kind of folks you Northern folks wouldn't be comfortable around.

Republicans in New York's state Senate who crossed party lines to legalize gay marriage in the state have seen sharp increases in their campaign coffers, leading conservative activists to allege their votes were bought... Michael Long, chairman of the New York State Conservative Party, likewise alleged that the Republicans voted for gay marriage "because of the largesse of money now flying through their accounts." State Sen. Ruben Diaz, the lone Democrat to oppose the bill, also questioned the senators' motives and called for New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to launch an investigation.
