I'd like to ask all praying FReepers to pray for my friend Jerry Ragovoy, who has suffered a massive stroke and is in a New York hospital. He's in a coma and it's a huge bleed in his brain.
Jerry wrote "Piece Of My Heart," "Cry Baby," "Time Is On My Side" and hundreds of other tunes recorded by major rock and rhythm and blues acts in the 1960s and 70s. He is funny and gifted and in desperate need.

Dear Lord God.......urgency does seem to apply in this case and so we ask you come into this dire situation and provide all which is needed for Chunga’s friends care. Equip Dr's. and all supporting staff to be on alert for any changes and your wisdom to know what to do as they work to stabilize him...and if already doe so... we ask that you maintain those efforts until he might come out on the other side of this happening...and we ask for just that Lord.....and witness to his heart, despite the coma, that He might know and sense you're abiding care.
May your grace touch his soul and your love sustain him now and in the hours and days ahead.
