You remind me of Mrs. Obama, although not quite as gracious.
To: techno
Victor calls for the playing of the La Marsellaise that drowns out the Germans singing their own national anthem at Rick's night club If you could all watch this one scene you will fully understand the charismatic power that Sarah Palin possesses and why her enemies don't want her to run or to shut her down.
Nazi general to this impromptu display of patriotism:
"If Laszlo could inspire that kind of public demonstration..."
He then orders the night club shut down.
excellent analogy.....nazis=democrats....vichey french=republican party....lazlo=palin....it works for me.
victor lazlo is sarah palin

I made a compliment. So if anyone is ungracious and using Obama tactics, that would be you.

IIRC, Ronald Reagan was supposed to play Rick in that movie. Anyone else know anything about that?

Supposedly true. How ironic.

I don’t remember comparing Ronald Reagan to anyone else. He was the person you compared other people to.
Take a look at the greats on that list. Do you remember seeing those greats compared to anyone else? I don’t.
If someone has stature, others are compared to them.

This is what I wrote over at conservatives4palin.com:
A couple of years a poster at C4P compared Sarah Palin to Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox, of the American Revolutionary War because of hit-and-run guerrilla activities.
In addition can be compared to the finest and bravest in the French Resistance, is as popular with the grassroots as Zapata was with the peasants and indigenous citizens of Mexico, and displays leadership ability and strategic brilliance of a James Doolittle who led a surprise airplane raid in 1942 on the city of Tokyo during WWI.
A quadruple threat par excellence without parallel.

You stopped reading too soon.
"No one can take your place Mr. Laszlo if you are shot while trying to escape."
Sarah Palin is also just as indispensable to our side as well.

Lol! Palin has my vote in the general, if she runs and can win the nomination. This list isn't about her, of course. It's about the Palinistas that worship her.
PDSers = One who doesn't worship Palin??

Oh, my. You’re right. I was laughing too hard to finish reading. I must issue a correction.
To: EveningStar
Don’t forget Bruce Lee. I mentioned him earlier with the specific hope you’d pick it up. I confess I am somewhat disappointed. BTW, what do the inspirational character lists look like for your fave candidates? Just curious.

I’d note the most interesting character in the film was Captain Louis Renault. Claude Rains stole the movie.
Myself, I am drafting a screenplay of Sarah building railroads across the Old West. When she drives in the Golden Spike at Promontory Summit, it’s symbolic of how she unites east and west into a new age of prosperity. With some singing and dance interludes I think it will win the Oscar.

So why is it that you never added Obama to your list, when it was you ironically who compared Palin to Obama?
To: EveningStar
You are truly evil posting (and keeping track of) that list. And more-so it appears to be in alphabetical order which is diabolical, worse than evil.
