I haven't seen them, and I searched and couldn't find them. Links provided to me by those wishing to assert the argument was being made before the fall of '08 turned out not to be making the two citizen argument. But if you think you can find one, be my guest.

I just had this discussion recently (click). June and July would be considered "summer". And Obama did not clinch the Democrat nomination until June 3rd -- so I'd say FReepers were on the ball! There may have been conversations even earlier than this. But it proved the point at the time, so why waste time looking further.
