That would almost make MY head explode, albeit for different reasons. It's an interesting concept, but it might be a bit too 'out there' to sell on Main Street.
Spot on as usual. My thought from the start is that Palin must have a man for a running mate. Having an all-woman ticket rattles even my sensibilities -- it's a little too much estrogen for me, and I'm a woman! Of course I'd vote for Palin regardless, but ... an all-woman ticket, in a nation that has not yet had a woman VP, let alone a woman President, smacks just a little to much of "gimmick."
Not only that, Bachmann wouldn't bring anything to the ticket that Palin doesn't already represent. More than anything, she'd be a solid ideological back-up, but not much else.
I also don't know how well she could (or would) wear the hat of guard dog, like most VPs do. There's the little matter of her letting her own dog attack Palin a few weeks back, to consider.
The more I look at the concept, the less I like it.
