Based on being in Wasilla, she’s likely got a thirty day term of service for jury duty. This is confirmed by her statement that her schedule could be difficult for about a month (paraphrase, not a quote). However, the rules allow that, depending on circumstances, one can get permission to be away from the jurisdiction for a brief period of time. So she’s probably just on “furlough,” as it were.
