Serious is this what freerepublic has become? Someone don´t like your personal oppinion (btw. was a civil discussion) and then you are banned (after years of posting here?) without a warning or a chance to even complain (or answer to all the people who replied to you?). btw. if a moderator reads this my original screen name is: darkside321 Would be nice if someone can undo this ban because i will not use this new account anymore. (Of course i will answers post to this topic but after this i´m done with FR untill my old account is no longer banned.) Well if not then not. I like the years i posted here and definitely will miss FR but then again i will not start over again. Not if i can be banned without reason anytime. Sorry but i´m really pi$$ed at the moment ;-)

I've never gotten a timeout - yet, and hope I never get that bad. I think Laz must hold the record for suspensions. Now if mittens or Huntsman get the nomination, all bets are off.
I think you may have mistaken some of his copied quotes he was responding to for his own writing. He wasn’t very clear in his use of them. You can tell his own writing by the grammatical and spelling errors. Quite disturbing...
I'm German, and learned about Nazi Germany in history class (back in the 50's). I learned enough to know socialism when I see it, and to detest what those people inflicted on the Jews, Poles, the world. But then again, my family immigrated from Germany in the mid 1800's.
I was suspended a couple years ago along with another FReeper who I argued with. I was told it was a 24 hour suspension or so. Some other FReepers took my side with Ad Mod, saying it was the other FReeper who’d attacked me. After 20 minutes I was back in business again. But I will admit, I was pretty steamed when dealing with that guy...

I got into an argument after I’d been here about two years. I don’t remember the screen name of the other FReeper, but he / she / it got banned later in that same thread. I did not hit the abuse button, but that freeper was ticking off several people.
It happens. It was during the 08 election for me, IIRC, and it was easy to get into it with someone. Have to keep that in mind since a new election cycle is under way...
