BigGovernment has learned from a confidential source on Capitol Hill that, starting tomorrow, Rep. Weiner’s DC staff will depart for other Congressional offices. According to our source, staff from Democrat leadership assembled Rep. Weiner’s staff and offered to assist them finding positions in other offices. Finding positions for everyone in Weiner’s DC office could take a week or two.

Since the climax of the Weiner story last week, it was clear that the staff would eventually limp away under the stiff scrutiny the office is being subjected to. This came quicker than many imagined and doubtless Anthony will think it premature.

It’s rare for a CongressRat to operate without a staff. If his valet, his driver and his butt-boy are gone, I think he will soon follow. Right after he arranges a gig on CNN.

I totally agree, these past few weeks have been the most fun we’ve had since the November election. I dont want it to end!
I’m guessing the Democrats first called on Bill Clinton to have a little chat with Weiner, and then they contacted his staff to guarantee placement in other positions in return for them resigning immediately.

So there just going to go into make work jobs and keep their government salaries. How nice. Why are these people getting jobs in other offices? If any of us out here in the real world lose our boss our jobs go with him/her. If there are available positions why aren’t they going to others who have previous apps? Yea I know... Why bother to ask?
