The media obsession over Sarah Palin has reached a new low as the State of Alaska plans to release thousands of her email correspondence during her tenure as governor of Alaska:
Over 24,000 e-mail messages to and from Sarah Palin during her tenure as Alaska's governor will be released Friday . We’ll be posting them here, and are inviting you to comment on the most interesting or most noteworthy sections. Please include page numbers and, where possible, a direct excerpt. We'll share your comments with our reporters and may use facts or related material you suggest to annotate the documents displayed on The Post site. We may contact you for further details, by way of your registered e-mail with the Post, unless you specify otherwise in the comments.
Oh, we know what they are salivating for: Anything that can be used to ridicule, humiliate, and damage Palin.
It isn't just WaPo doing this, but the NYTimes as well, among others.

This should set a precedent for when Illinois is asked for State Senator Obamah’s emails.
The NY Times and Wash Post are such hypocritical bags of fully digested swine food.
We still have not seen ANY of Obama’s records (transcripts, grades, etc) and now this scrutiny of Palin.
Isn’t it getting a little troublesome that republican stuff gets released and this NEVER happens to democrats?
I want to see Obama’s emails during the presidential campaign, and from his non existent careers before that.

Palin has not declared her candidacy for President, so why are they releasing these e-mails? What a colossal waste of time and energy. Are they going to release my emails next?

College records and transcripts, high school ditto, passport info, physical records (didn't every other president release these annually?). Just one mention a day and it will even resonate with the average American just how much he is really hiding.
Ditto. I'm a little tired of our side crying because the Left is picking on us. It's time to be proactive. Use the FOIA to get Senator Obama's, Reid's, Pelosi's, Schumer's, et al emails, texts, etc. Like the Left says, it's public business on the public's dime so it's public information. Let's open it up to Democrat Senators, Congressmen, Governors. What a waste of energy and resources to whine and do nothing. Unlike Obama's personal information, i.e. school records, communication on the taxpayer's dime is fair game.
The socialists/communists/leftists/Democrats cannot abide even the possibility that Sarah Palin will be elected President, or even VP of this country. - Excellence and decency scares them. Anyone who is a conservative and who is superior to them must be DESTROYED, and the MSM has to be seen as being “intelligent”, so they all go along with the game. -
They are rabid; they have their agenda and they are fanatically radical and totally protective of it. - I think they’ll dissect the e-mails for any grammatical flaw, and they will hire people from all 57 states to do it. If they can’t find anything damning in the e-mails, they’ll INVENT something damning in them.
Meantime, like the Energizer Bunny, Sarah just keeps on going. I think she’ll just let them exhaust themselves, and then announce toward the end of the year that she and her family decided she isn’t running.
Meantime, Barack Hussein is OFF LIMITS.
