Nelson Ochieng, a cousin of Mr Obama who lives in the Kenyan city of Kisumu, near the family village of Kogelo, said that Omar had changed his first name after moving to the US. “Before he went to America we all knew him as Omar, but he dropped that bit, changing it to Obama Onyango, because he said he preferred his African name,” he said. Gail Greenberger, the landlady who bought the four-storey brick block of flats at a foreclosure sale in 1994, knew her tenant, however, by the name Obama Onyango. “We used to call him ‘Oh-bummer!’. That is how I pronounced Obama in 2000,” she said.

Ms Greenberger said she inherited him with the building but was forced to evict him in 2000 for nonpayment of his rent of about $500 a month. “I remember him being decent but I think he lost his job. When they lose their job, they just stop paying rent. He did not even go to court. He bolted from the apartment,” she said. Records of Boston Housing Court show a “summary process” was executed against Mr Onyango on February 23, 2000, for unpaid rent of $2,324.70.

Mr Onyango was a business partner in a “convenience store” called the Wells Market at 1760 Dorchester Avenue, now a Hispanic bodega, or grocery. Records list him as the treasurer of the corporation, which was set up without his name in 1992 and involuntarily wound up in 2007 after failing to file annual reports since 1997.

In 1994 Obama Onyango was attacked in an armed robbery at the Wells Market, the Boston Herald reported. According to a police report, two masked black males entered the store around 9.30pm on June 7, 1994, and “did assault and beat the victim, and did rob victim of an undetermined amount of US currency. Suspects were believed to be armed with a ‘sawed-off’ rifle, and did flee the area on foot .” ...

We are assuming that his was issued in January as POTUS but if that were the case then why blurr it out?

Exactly. Everyone knows he'd have gotten it updated or issued the extra special POTUS one, if there's such a thing. Remember when he claimed he got his first one when he became a Senator. Just proves he was so special even back then that he was above passports all those times in and out of Indonesia, Australia, Kenya, Pakistan, etc. Well, special or a liar, take your pick.

Very difficult to make head nor tail of two short snippets like that. The suggestion is that zero and who-ever it was that he means when he says 'growing up with Barack' was in Kenya.

Which indicates to me that the little Dark boy, the child of Anna Obama was the one he 'grew up with' and he either believes or wants us to believe they were one and the same person...as the individual, zero, with whom he (Malik) was 'boys on the block (with)years ago' and that appears to refer to Malik living in the US during that period...

Which of course he wasn't, could not have been - the same individual. Zero showed up in Hawaii at the age of three, and if Malik was born in 1958 as we are expected to believe, Malik would have been three years of age when zero was born...

I think Malik may have made an important mistake, the boy 'Barack' he 'grew up with...' WAS his HALF-BROTHER...the son of the kenyan and Anna Obama, who surfaced in 1992 after almost a decade at the Lumumba University...with the name ROMAN OBAMA...who now, it appears, is an Administration official for Equatorial Guinea, in Accra, Ghana.

Difficult to follow? I guess it's meant to be.

I found the information that was NOT in the memo interesting: Obama senior seems to have not told Harvard and immigration officials that he had a 3 year old son in Hawaii who was born in the United States.

The memo is dated 1964, Obama's wife in Hawaii is referred to, but Obama's senior's son in Hawaii, who was supposedly born on Aug. 4, 1961 in Kapiolani Hospital, is not mentioned in the 1964 memo.

It is as if, for some unknown reason, Obama senior purposely did not mention Obama junior, who would have been about 3 years old when the memo was signed in 1964.

I find it strange that Obama senior did not mention Obama junior in 1964---or even during his earlier years at Harvard--- because if he told Havard and immigration officials from the first time that he arrived at Harvard in 1962 that he had a son born in the United States in 1961, maybe Harvard and immigration officials would have been more sympathetic when it looked at his immigration extension request a few years later.

But, no, it seems that Obama senior never told either Harvard or immigration officials that he had a son, Obama junior, who was 3 years old and lived in Hawaii.

Why Obama senior may not have told Harvard and immigration officials about 3 year old American-born Obama junior, I have no idea.

The only thing I can think of is that Obama junior was not really Obama senior's real son.

Seems to me he couldn't claim to have a son in Hawaii and name him, he might have been asked to provide a birth certificate to substantiate the claim...and he would not have been able to claim Stanley Ann Dunham as wife AND mother, because the birth certificate would have shown a birthdate around January 1961, and ANNA (maiden name) OBAMA as mother.

DNA TEST: I sure would like Obama and his aunt to submit to DNA TESTS so that we can be sure that they are related.

But I guess such DNA tests will occur only on the day hell freezes over, which, coincidentally, happens to be the same hell-freezes-over day when Obama will give Kapiolani Hospital officials permission to let reporters examine his Aug. 4, 1961 birth records.
