No, no, dont take that as an endorsement. Its merely a summary of what Andrew Sullivan argues in his latest post on Sarah Palin:
Palin has been airbrushed out of the GOP race by the entire scene... And yet, for some unfathomable reason, she has secretly put together an hour long Triumph Of The Will Evita Undefeated documentary that will attempt to do what Josh Green tried: to reframe her as a visionary reformer... Its going to air in Iowa next month.
Why would someone who has decided not to run do that?
Youve got to love that Godwin from Andrew; Triumph of the Will. Ha-ha. Yeah. Great one, Andrew. Thats really creative; equating Republicans with Nazis. Nobodys ever done that before. Nope.
In any case, Andrew goes on to quote Scott Conroy. He reports:
["The Undefeated"] is a two-hour-long, sweeping epic, a rough cut of which [filmmaker Stephen K.] Bannon screened privately for Sarah and Todd Palin last Wednesday in Arizona, where Alaskas most famous couple has been rumored to have purchased a new home. When it premieres in Iowa next month, the film is poised to serve as a galvanizing prelude to Palins prospective presidential campaign an unconventional reintroduction to the nation that she and her political team have spent months eagerly anticipating, even as Beltway Republicans have largely concluded that she wont run. Bannon, a former naval officer and ex-Goldman Sachs banker, sees his documentary as the first step in Palins effort to rebuild her image in the eyes of voters who may have soured on her, yet might reconsider if old caricatures begin to fade.
Although Andrews reasoning makes sense, the chances of a Palin candidacy are rather small. Most experts believe she wont run and theyre probably right. After all, why should she?

One good thing about McCain is that he did give us Palin. There were a lot here on FR saying that we hated McCain, and we wanted Palin. And Palin wasn’t famous then, but McCain did give us Palin anyway.
Yes, and virtually NONE of the independent vote.
This will happen IF they are the conservatives they claim to be.
So you admit that what I said is true and you just made up the crap you posted. What a dope.
Oh, yeah, we’ve had so many other GOP speakers draw crowds and influence the debate the way she has since Reagan. (eye roll)
Why don’t you participate on threads other than the one’s you originate?
There is some merit to having more than 1 of them in there for a while.
Doesn’t she also believe dinosaurs were around 5,000 years ago?
Yeah and your pal Øbama thinks they speak Austrian in Austria.
Sorry no. Let me clarify: in the primary, Cain and Bachmann will get a good chunk of the conservative vote.
If Palin would win the primary, she’d get the conservative vote, but few swing voters. That is why she can’t beat Obama.
I guess it remains to be seen, but I can’t believe that anyone other than themselves and their closest family members could actually think Bachmann or Cain have a snowballs chance in hell of beating Øbama. They are third tier candidates at best. If they truly do not want another four years of Øbama and are the conservatives that want us to believe they are, they will get out of the race the second Sarah announces that she is in and throw their support to her.
My Pal Obama? That’s funny. Does she want creationism taught in school or not? I’ll vote for her if I have to. I’d never vote for a dem. Just saying the bible thumpin stuff is a turn off to a great many Republican voters and independents. I’m pro-life, don’t go to church, and wouldn’t piss on Obama if he were on fire. Just want to vote for someone I respect for once...
Those are not reasons. They are excuses. Keep making them. Your words will make a fool of you.
That’s one of several reasons she can’t beat Obama. She’d do fine with the base when it’s all said and done, but I think she’ll fall short among swing voter type voters.
Listen, it’d be a great ticket, but I’m just afraid it won’t happen :)
Cheers!
