I have trouble believing that Obama was born in Kenya.
KAPIOLANI HOSPITAL: But with each passing day, I am beginning to believe more and more that Obama was NOT born at Kapiolani Hospital like it says on his recently released long form birth certificate.
1. I may eat my words later, but to me, Kapiolani Hospital officials have been too CONSPICUOUSLY silent in responding to the release of Obama's long form birth certificate where Kapiolani Hospital is listed as Obama's birth hospital.
2. It has been almost 4 weeks now---and still counting---since Obama released his long form birth certificate on April 27, 2011, yet there has not been a single word from Kapiolani officials that officially verifies that Obama was indeed born there. Why is that?

To me, this should be a time of great joy and celebration on the part of Kapiolani Hospital officials that Obama has released his long form birth certificate, because they can now come out at last and feel free to proclaim to the world that the President of the United States was born at Kapiolani Hospital on Aug. 4, 1961, something that they knew all along but could not say anything until now.
4. But, no. Instead of taking this wonderful time to start dancing in the streets with joy and happiness, Kapiolani Hospital officials remain CONSPICUOUSLY silent about the release of Obama's long form birth certificate. Why is that?
5. Also, we recently found out that when author Corsi visited Kapiolani Hospital after Obama released his long form birth certificate to ask hospital officials some questions, hospital officials chased Corsi away instead of welcoming Corsi with common courtesy.
6. And President Obama isn't helping matters either.

For instance, if President Obama and his high-priced lawyers contacted Kapiolani Hospital officials TODAY and told them to allow a select group of reporters to look at his mother's Aug. 4, 1961 records, or Obama's high-priced lawyers will go to court to force Kapiolani Hospital to release his mother's records, do you really think that Kapiolani officials will tell the President of the United States and his high-priced lawyers that under no circumstances will Kapiolani ever release Obama's mother's records? Give me a break.
8. In addition, the longer Kapiolani Hospital officials and President Obama continue to play hardball when it comes to the release of Obama's mother's records, the more votes Obama will lose on election day Nov. 2012.
By the HIPAA law, Kapiolani can't release information unless they have a signed authorization to disclose.

Because releasing the LFBC is not equivalent to signing a release of records. You can write a tell-all book with every detail of your gall bladder surgery, and the hospital still can't say a thing unless YOU SIGN A RELEASE. It doesn't matter what's out in the public domain, since the HIPAA law doesn't have an exception for that.

Doesn't surprise me a bit. Any hospital I've every been associated with would probably do the same, with greater or lesser degrees of civility. And if he refused to leave, he would be escorted off the premises. From their point of view, he would only be there to make trouble by trying to get them to violate the HIPAA law.

This is the single point of your post that makes sense. If 0bama signed a release, they could disclose his records. They still couldn't disclose his mother's, unless he was her executor or designated person to authorize. It's a 50-50 chance that he was the executor vs. Maya.
Here's what sealed the deal with me. Remember, at one time he was confused between the two hospitals. Well, take a look at a Honolulu street map. Locate the Dunhams apartment at 1617 S. Beretania. It's on the corner of Beretania and Punahou. Go half a mile up on Punahou to the Punahou school. That was the walk he made every day to school. That whole half a mile to school and to basketball practice. Now, what's that big building complex right smack dab in the middle of that daily walk? Why, surprise, surprise!!! It's the Kapiolani Hospital!!! Now, how the heck could he ever have been confused where he was born if he walked past it and looked out the apartment building window at it every day? Nope, no way was he born there.
