That’s the tactic that I’ve found used so often: send me on some wild goosechase to round up documentation which they then ignore anyway. It’s trollish behavior. What they don’t realize is that it is easily transparent, and when I dig up the facts and they don’t others can see it in a NY minute. It takes no time at all to come up with the “Oh, you’re just a birther making stuff up and you’re crazy” type answers. Lazy. Of course, they’ve got nothing better they CAN do because the facts are not supportive of their claims. The best they can hope to do is to sandbag and obfuscate.

If someone links to prove their point, they should show the material that proves it. A link to a 10,000 plus post thread means 200 pages. You want to show something in there, you find the page. Of course if you can’t, it makes one wonder about the quality of your research and your evidence ...
