People would say he was just told what was on the real BC. Knowing what was on a BC ahead of time doesn’t prove whether it is or isn’t genuine.

People may have said that, but he would have had more credibility on this point if he said something (or at least prepared something) before the BC was released than he does now, simply saying that he knew what would be on the forgery before it came out. At least he could have proven that he knew something before it came out, whereas now he is merely asserting that he knew something, without corroborating evidence.
