jalapenos freeze nicely also if you are into them. I like to slow roast them in the oven then let hem cool and into a freezer bag. Thaw and chop. Nice stuff.

Too hot for me! Have to pass on anything but the sweet peppers.

I bet there’s no way to freeze eggplant. I’ll have to eat ‘em as they grow.

Got a few kinds of squash plants, cauliflower, kohlrabi, red cabbage.

The garden will be a nice place to shop and no driving to the store, just walk out the back door...

We canned and froze lots of stuff when I was a kid. Mom knew how to do it all, even made pickles, pickled banana peppers, jams, canned tomatoes, made grape jelly, strawberry.

Had our own beef, chicken,eggs, pigs. Oh the good old days!
