Just when the Indiana Legislature gives Governor Mitch Daniels (R-IN) a gift allowing him to sign a bill defunding Planned Parenthood it looked like the truce was over.
Well, not quite.

Man... you know it’s crappy blogging etiquette to post somebody’s blog in full... let them get some traffic out of this.
I can’t believe the nitpicky things people complain about here.
I am sorry I did not give you a little more, but I will respect the authors I link to.
I’m against fed control of education, I’m on the side of local control.
This isn’t my blog, but I know the guy... he’s a pretty well known blogger in Iowa.
If he is going to run for President shouldn’t I be concerned about how he views a federal role in education?
Hey appreciate the name calling, it really adds to the conversation.
SO.. he's paying you to advertise the blog on Free Republic
by posting an excerpt in order to drive traffic to his blog?
How much?
Obviously something is going on, as this blog isn't on the excerpt list.
Why the excerpt?
Yea, that’s the ticket.
You left out the most important part:
Take the fedgov out of education entirely. If that doesn’t happen, it will only get worse.
No I didn’t:
“The Federal role in education should be to keep the hell out.” I think that’s pretty clear. :)

I need to go back to bed. Somehow my eyes skipped that very important part!
Well you didn't do him any favors as I am not going to his blog and I have no idea if he is any good so I will never go there.
No... it’s blogger etiquette, plus a copyright violation to post his whole post (or anyone’s) here.
Excerpts only, that is what I’ll do with any link I share here, anything else would be rude, in my opinion.
That said, I could have made the excerpt a little longer. You know if FR didn’t want you to do it this way, they wouldn’t give you the excerpt option. I don’t think it puts anyone out to click over to the original story.
LOL! You have been here two days.
blogger etiquette
That's like crackhead etiquette, nobody cares.
copyright violation to post his whole post
Total lie. Typical.
What a loser and blog pimp.
Yeah, that carries a lot of weight around here. Thanks for pointing it out.
copyright violation to post his whole post (or anyones) here.
Really?
Have you familiarized yourself with the Free Republic excerpt list?
No? I thought not.
You know if FR didnt want you to do it this way, they wouldnt give you the excerpt option.
No? Well let's just see what the owner has to say on the topic:

Can you read that?
I'm pleased to meet you. Hope you've guessed my name.
Pimping blogs, it can put your ass in pain.
Pfffffft.. Please. Nothing can compare to the Stones:

No, you explained it well enough, it’s just that I felt defensive towards that one blog — IslamInAction I think the name was.
But then when he absolutely refused to just post the full article, I kind of lost interest in him and then, over time, I noticed how many bloggers did the same thing, just showed up to “pimp their blog” and I realized that you (and others) were right all along.
Also, the more of your posts that I read, the more I realized you are one of the drier wits on this site and I came to appreciate your style.
You wouldn’t happen to have a few other aliases now would you Shane? I see the Iowaguy1972 alias got ZOTted.
It takes a big man to make such a recognition.
(About the blog.)
I wish I were as reasonable about things. ;-)
No problem. I thnk we are on the same page here!

That’s it? That’s it???
Stingy little bastard, aren’t you? That’s all I need to know about you and your little blog. Moving on.
