On Friday, Manuel Osorio-Arellanes was arraigned in a Tucson federal courtroom for second-degree murder, conspiracy to assault a federal officer and firearms possession charges in connection to the December shooting death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry
Though others have also been charged in Agent Terrys death, the Justice Department has sealed their names.
Osorio-Arellanes is scheduled to go on trial on June 17, if convicted, the Mexican national faces up to life in prison.
On December 14, 2010, Agent Brian Terry was shot to death in the Arizona desert, while patrolling one of the region's most dangerous drug and human smuggling corridors. He was actually looking for Mexican bandits who typically prey on those crossing into this country illegally.

As with current US-Mexican policy, if he was extradited from Mexico, the US has a policy of removing the death penalty from cases of this type prior to Mexico relinquishing custody. Ive had two cases where both the State and the Feds had to provide written motions to the courts removing any death penalty sanction prior to Mexico extraditing the suspect.I realize that you are giving an objective legal reason, but it seems like Mexico and other countries are telling what we can and cannot do. It's nauseating.

looks like he resisted arrest. I guess Magical Mystery Tour will be posting a police brutality thread soon.

Well they won’t extradite if we don’t make the promise. It sucks for sure. Country like that in chaos,on the brink of anarchy can’t enforce their own laws in their own land.

It is frustrating. America was the beacon of sanity in an insane world. It's awful to watch Zero and his pals shredding it right before our eyes.

I know what you are saying, but I sure don’t like it. Death is what he deserves.

I am glad you posted this update. I have a question..Though others have also been charged in Agent Terrys death, the Justice Department has sealed their names. Why seal their names?

Why seal their names? One thought came to mind: the names begin or end with "mohammed?"
