Wow, this is interesting. A focus group of SC Republican primary voters came in with only 1 supporting Cain, and left with the majority supporting Cain.
What is interesting is WHY they changed their vote. Also interesting is their feelings about the other potential candidates not showing up.
Cain has all of Trump’s positive qualities (successful in business, not afraid to speak his mind) with a better demeanor and none of the negatives.
BTTT
Bump
(With Trump bankrolling the effort, and Palin rallying the troops.)
Bolton’s Lutheran as far as I know...
The MSM fears Cain the most. That means he may be our guy.
They are busy burying the description of Cain’s performance in the last paragraphs of their articles. Devoting pages and pages of coverage to the liberal republicans, and ignoring the guy who surprised everybody.
The fix is in.
I was just thinking Santorum and Pawlenty made good points and didn’t say anything stupid. Your point on style/delivery is a good one though.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows who won and it makes the people saying otherwise it look ridiculously biased. Especially since people actually *saw* it with their own eyes and are watching replays today.
Cain is over 50% in the Fox poll now http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/05/06/won-debate/
Interesting that Cain won folks over, but that whole debate was a farce and not worth watching.
No serious candidates were there and it was way premature to hold this debate.
he's a liberal democrat who just hasn't come out yet
Pawlenty is a "safe" candidate for the Republican country-club elite to get behind.
Cain is the BOMB
Hmmm.
I must have missed the memo where you were appointed as judge as to just who is and who is not a serious candidate. A lot of folks now hold office who probably didn’t match your criteria for “serious.”
And with social media being what it is, serious can happen almost overnight.
Thanks, have heard so many conflicting stories on his religion. Frankly, I don’t care what religion he is, he’s an honorable man with a vast knowledge of the players on the world state.
There were many in the UN who spoke out in admiration when he was our ambassador. People appreciate straight talk and honest dealings.
Cain was impressive but I also consider the heavy hitters were not represented at this debate. He has a tough haul in that respect...time will tell.
But it’s very early still and others have not claimed running or not...and I question why this debate happened in the first place.
I like Cain....a lot....but Chris Wallace nailed it this morning on Fox and Friends when he said that, impressive as he was, Cain really needs to bone up on foreign policy (i.e. actually HAVE a foreign policy plan) to play in this league.
He truly was dead-on right. It’s great to have business acumen and common sense, combined with an appreciation of true American Constitutional values. Cain has all that; all to the good. Still, he’s wanting a role that demands much more. He needs a Brain Trust right away and needs to do his homework......then he’ll have a real chance.
I love Bolton! If he couldn’t be VP, I’d make him secretary of state.
Dream ticket. And Its just a dream.....
President Mark Steyn - We can forge his birth certificate later.
Mark Levin, Vice President. I’d love to see him preside over congress.”Get off the floor you jerk!”
Herman Cain - Secretary of the Treasury
John Bolton - Secretary of State
Allen West - Secretary of Defense
Chris Christie - Department of Labor
....
Sarah Palin - Department of Energy
Ron Paul - Federal Reserve
David Horowitz - Department of Education
Rush Limbaugh - Head of the FCC, Green Czar,
Probably all of the men up there are fine men and have some good ideas, but we need someone forceful, tough, plain spoken. Besides Cain, the others seem like dweebs. We gotta have someone with a big personality to go against Obama. They can’t be all personality like Trump, but big personality has gotta be part of it. I like Cain and I will enthusiastically support him should he get it. The only other one I see out there that has a big enough plain, talking personality out there like Herman Cain is Sarah Palin.
Wow, that would rock!
I like your list. I’d add Dennis Prager on there for something though.
