Even the modern English language uses figurative phrases and words. "Dumb as a box of rocks", comes to mind. :o) Yeah I know, the Bible doesn't mean what it says. I just wish the translators could decide on what a day means, or a generation, or a lineage, or a city, or a prophecy, or a commandment, etc. etc. etc. In fact I just wish the translators could agree on any single thing in the Bible. That would be a miracle.

All it takes is faith - a virtue much too lacking in those who automatically deny what they cannot observe with their eyes, ears, etc.

That would be a miracle.Yes, it would be since you, being blind, would see. In any case, it is remarkable that one would spend so much time and effort grousing about something that one does not believe.

[Even the modern English language uses figurative phrases and words. "Dumb as a box of rocks", comes to mind] Yeah I know, the Bible doesn't mean what it says. That would be a miracle It makes you wonder why there are so many different interpretations...if it's as simple as "dumb as a box of rocks." :)
