Yeah I know, the Bible doesn't mean what it says. I just wish the translators could decide on what a day means, or a generation, or a lineage, or a city, or a prophecy, or a commandment, etc. etc. etc. In fact I just wish the translators could agree on any single thing in the Bible. You "wish"??? Somehow, I just do not quite believe you really mean that. The Bible means what it says and says what it means. All it takes is faith - a virtue much too lacking in those who automatically deny what they cannot observe with their eyes, ears, etc.

It makes you wonder why there are so many different interpretations...if it's as simple as "dumb as a box of rocks." :)
