Taking in the experience of Buckhead, when I fist looked at the birth certificate, I decided to look at character spacing.
I'm not saying it's fake and I'm not saying it's real. When using a manual typewriter on legal paper, you avoided mistakes at all costs. What is totally confusing to me is the document was typed at two separate times. The complete document was typed up missing boxes 2, 3, 4, part of 5a, 6d, 7e and 7g. They reset the paper fractionally off on alignment and then filled out these missing boxes. Nothing that strange. But the year was filled out with the majority of the other imformation, then they came back and filled in the line up to the month and day.
What I would love to see if other birth certificates from this hospital. Was this done often?
Compared boxes 18b with 19b!!!
What is interesting is, with exception of box 7d and 15 on, every typed line is exactly on the bottom on the box.
The date is when it was accepted, not necessarily filed. It has been suggested that perhaps they stacked all the BC’s and filed them (assigned number and filed) on Friday. So forms from the 8th and 11th would have been stamped and filed on the same day. If that is the case, is it unreasonable to think that they could have been processed out of order?
If we could get a definitive answer for how the documents were processed, we might be able to determine if the numbering is really an issue, or simply a clerical sorting error. Even if we could, whats to say that process was always followed and was foolproof? There was a potential of near 350 births per week in Hawaii. His was out of order by 2.
I’m sure there was a general rule to number the forms in order of birth, but no system is perfect. And come on, we are talking about a government office here. I would bet that you could take all the births of any given week in HI around that time period and you would find numerous anomalies with regards to the number and birth order.
Look at entry #1 “Male”, and how the entries in the fields below line up. They all start, a half space to the right. In other words, 0bama’s sex was not entered on the birth certificate at the same time as the other information.

One little birth certificate glitch no one seems to have caught on about is the type set. The "ni" letters of the hospital name gives away another clue to this document fraud.
In the old days before modern computers there was truly mono-space type as this was all the typewriter could technically perform. The "n" key and "i" key were always equal distant. With the modern PC even spacing of not only words but letters came into being so that fully justified left and right margins were possible.
Most people probably don't understand the cut and paste of signature pixels you're showing but thought I'd pass along the reasoning.
The dark signature without supporting lighter pixels is an indication of editing. Editing away lighter pixels from a scanned signature may have been done to hide a different paper texture or coloration of the original document. In a scanned graphic image there should always be lighter pixels to complete a smooth image from light to darker areas of a graphic image.

There are others who have noted a number of other problems with the document presented. Among them are that there are no apparent tab stops used on the Obama "birth certificate." 1961 was the day of the typewriter, and nobody hand-centered things like that. Production typists used tab stops and if you look at other, known-authentic birth certificates from the time, you'll note that they're tab-aligned. Obama's is not. Remember Dan Rather and his little forgery? 20-something idiots in the White House IT department have never used an actual typewriter in their life. 40-something bloggers and their girlfriends (and "Batgirl" deserves recognition for the catch on this one) most certainly did during our school and college years, and we remember how they worked too. Nobody ever manually centered or manually-aligned production documents in a typewriter.
compare 18b with Nordykes.
No it doesn’t.
It doesn’t have the embossed seal of the DOH of Hawaii and the date and signature that go with it.
Therefore it certifies nothing for or against Obama.
=8-)
No on the fake b.c., see my post # 78 and this:!!!

Why have you been so intent on defending 0bama’s BC?
Top is Nordyke. Middle is Obama's from the WH. Bottom is Obama's from AP.
* The loops of the 8 are more open on Obama's.
* The first dash is aiming towards the angle of the 7 on Nordyke, but towards txe left end of the upper bar of the 7.
* The upper bar of the 7 is more angled on Nordyke.
* The second dash appears to be touching the 6 on Obama, not on Nordyke.
* The loop of the 6 is more angled on Nordyke, a little more open on Obama.
* The 1 has a bit of a curve on Obama, straighter on Nordyke.
Many obvious differences, but very similar, which one would expect if filled out by the same office clerk.
Because conspiracy crap like this hurts the conservative cause! I’d much prefer to defeat him with facts and truth.
On all the documents that UKL Lee signed? How do you know they are fake?
Yep, those dates were definitely all written in the same handwriting. Either a clerk or a nurse.
Contrary to recent implications, new evidence supports that Barack Obama was not actually delivered in Kapiolani hospital, as records suggest, but, rather, he was merely examined there by a private practitioner, David Sinclair, in the days following his birth, which triggered the validation of an administratively issued Certificate of Live Birth registration, not a hospital generated birth certificate representing an actual delivery.

Bingo.
Well, if that were true than any image of the document floating around out there would have different resolutions. If the master forgery were done that poorly, than all copies would be that poor if not worse. But that is not what we see in the document scanned for the AP and released by the AP.
Where are you finding so many of these documents signed by him?
