Video: Trump- If I Were Pres, I'd Tell OPEC "You're Not to Raise the F***ing Price" of Oil

Well, I don't think that anyone can deny that Donald Trump is at least a little fiery...

Here is a short transcript:

Trump- Did you see recently where, a couple of days ago, Saudia Arabia said, "Let's raise the price, let's cut back production?" Can you believe it? You're gonna be paying $5 and $6 a gallon for gasoline pretty soon... and they wanna go in and raise the price of oil because we have nobody in Washington that sits back and said 'you're not going to raise that f***ing price! Do you understand me?'

[Followed by loud applause]

Herbert Hoover? How do you figure that?

That’s more like Obama if you ask me. Herbert Hoover raised Taxes in a recession just like Obama wants to.

If you are talking about 25% Traffic that Trump is proposing on China, then let me tell you some facts.

1) We charged Tariffs on every country up until 1996. Yes 1996 when Bill Clinton signed in NAFTA. So according to your definition of a “Protectionist” we (the USA) were all “Protectionist” from when tarrifs began up until 1996. And guess what we were a Super Power. The ONLY in 1996 I might add.

“Protectionist” is a term that was used prior to WWII for people that did not want to get involved in the second World War. We remained that until Pearl Harbor.

2) Now here something that was news to me that your “Free Market” liars will NOT tell you. We are the ONLY country that does not charge tariffs (to the G20 nations or whatever the number is). Do you get that? That means we pay tariffs to the G20. And yes that includes China. So China pays no tariffs over here, but we pay tariffs to China. There’s your “Free Market” for you!

3) China manipulates their currency.
4) There is no EPA in China
5) There is no EEOC in China

In other words it’s a rigged poker game. We lose every time. The only people who benefit are the Companies that will reinvest their money overseas and not here.

The ONLY way we could have a true “Free Market” is if everyone played by the same rules of the game. So it’s like we are playing a game and everyone is playing by a different set of rules.

Our leaders have sold us out. We have become Crony Capitalist which is one step away from Communist. That is why while Obama wants to raise taxes on small business ($250,000 and above) he lets companies like G.E. get away with paying no taxes or even Google that paid less than 3% in taxes.

I love Capitalism, but not Crony Capitalism and unfortunately that is where we are at.

Look at us. One in Two people in our nation is NOT working. 45% of Americans are carrying the other 55% and 47% do not pay taxes. We have to turn this ship around.

The trumpster is wrong on this; OPEC should be dumped from the picture entirely, they have been yanking our chain and playing footsie with us long enough.

To complete the treatment, dump the EPA as well; just the mere announcement that we are "opening drilling for America" would send OPEC into spirals. I saw where they are paying 9-cents per gallon for gasoline in Saudi Arabia...and we're almost at $5 per? What's wrong with this picture.

Our biggest enemy on the energy front is not OPEC, it's not even the oil companies...IT'S OUR OWN F***ING GOVERNMENT.

Trump never had my vote, and if he doesn't understand this simple fact, he'll never even come close to getting it.

I like what he's done with calling out obama, but his "ideas" and his potty mouth are not what we need right now...he only appealing to the lowest common denominator in the American population...RINO's.

Talking tough, and being tough, are two different things...as an example:

Conversely, I still believe that the Muslim Saudis are acting collusively with the muslim president on sucking more cash out of America.

It is in our self interest to ensure the Saudis are not overthrown by al qaeda. The Saudis know this. It is also foolish for trump to announce to the world how he would handle private negotiations with other countries. He made that mistake when he shot off his mouth about the Chinese and now this. I am not surprised since trump is pretty clumsy about such things which is a charitable way of saying it.

In any event the candidates should be going after obama. The fact trump sees saudia Arabia as the “villian” instead of obama in regard to oil prices indicates he is not aware of how obama is contributing significantly to the problem.

Yes but there are only 7 oil companies.

So when buy from Canada or Mexico it’s from 1 of the 7 Oil Companies.

Who is manipulating the barrel of Oil is OPEC...

Don’t let people fool you on this issue.

It’s like buying a Coke or Pepsi in a different country. It’s still Coke or Pepsi.

The reason why Canada and Mexico are on top is because of their location. OPEC is what determines the price of Crude Oil in the world and NOT Canada, Mexico, Etc

The reason why people go after Saudi Arabia is because they are a BIG part of OPEC.

We could shut OPEC down if there was the national will to do it and the right leader to orchestrate it.

We should be exporting oil and not importing it but the only way you could get from here to there is the same way anybody quits smoking... You'd have to, in a single day, ban all importation of oil for all time. THAT would mess us up about as badly as we were messed up during WW-II for about a year (we'd survive it) after which we'd be in fabulous condition. It would mess OPEC up permanently, and they would not recover from it; they'd go back to living in tents and riding camels.

For about one year, here, there would be:

Again we did survive all of thatfrom 1941 - 1946.

I just hope conservatives hold their votes for someone who will be effective, rather than just tell them what they want to hear.

I don't mind both, but I want effective first.

And how much military support does the USA give them? Without the USA proping up the King;

We pulled our troops out of Saudi Arabia years ago. Osama bin Laden got what he wanted.

So when buy from Canada or Mexico it’s from 1 of the 7 Oil Companies.

What?1?

The seven sister lost their majority decades ago, some of them don't even exist anymore.

There is over 100 oil producing companies just in the US. Far more around the world. Several of those are bigger than any of the 7 left today.

Part of me says “screw diplomacy. We need a brash asskicker.”

What? You don't think bowing to everyone including (Oprah), belittling America at every turn, refusing to drill for oil, but paying for drilling in Brazil, and sitting down with terrorists and dictators and singing a couple of choruses of "Kumbaya" is effective foreign policy?

ban all importation of oil for all time

That would be like preventing yourself from smoking by using a shotgun on your head. Effective yes, but insane.

How about we build up our own production first? It would be nice to have an economy left after we were done.

For me personally, as an engineer with a couple decades already in the industry, your method would cause me huge financial reward, but at the cost of crippling my country.

No thanks.

Yes I agree. Big mouth populists feed off ignorance. My only point is that trump can be a useful idiot if he attacks obama. To the extent he points his mouth in obama’s direction he can be somewhat helpful. Although he botched the birther issue since it was not just about a COLB. Had he framed that issue right in the context of a NBC we coudd still be pounding obama on that front. So he blew that one based on his ignorance of the issue.

We don’t need a p*ssy like Obama out apologizing to the world and bowing to people. We’re America. We kick ass and take names.

We don't need p*ssy republicans like McCain, Huckabee, Romney, Graham and Rove controlling the party. So tired of those wimps bending over to kiss democrats asses every chance they get.

OPEC Can’t Raise the F***ing Price” of Oil

Yes and no.

True, OPEC doesn't control the spot price of oil directly, but we all know the market has lots of speculators, and thus is hyper-sensitive to any news out of the Middle East. So for SA to simply hint at cutting back on supply is enough to move the price.

And for all those upset about Presidential F-bombs, you'd best not read about LBJ's and Nixon's Administrations.
