Trump in so many things he says just makes too much sense and says the things that those in DC are too scared to say in public since more worried about votes and power. Basically, Trump will not be seen as presidential to many because he doesn’t say a bunch of nothing like most of our politicians do and have done for years. I don’t think he can win because of that, but I will enjoy him making the others squirm.
Nice one. People should actually listen to what he’s saying instead of crapping all over him when he hasn’t even announced that he’s running for office yet.
This is a good quote: “I didn’t notice Swedish people knocking down the World Trade Center.”
Somebody try and point out any other politician (or any other person on TV) saying we should take Iraq’s oil after investing American dollars in that country.
If nothing else, he makes the Dems very nervous.
Says he can't do anything until the TV show ends. I think that's about June 1.
THAT IS EXACTLY MY POINT
I have NEVER seen more than 15 mins of Trump’s show... and just that once!
I only listen to what he says, look at the platform, admire the courage and obviously sincere patriotism... Trump loves this freaking country, why wouldn’t he...?
But above all, WE MUST WIN THIS ELECTION... and Trump is a PROVEN winner
If you want to camouflage comb-over boy as a conservative, you better make sure you keep focused on quotes from just the last few months!
You are 100% correct on every point
After what our Military has done, we shouldn’t just leave it all for Iran. He’s right. He thinks like a businessman.
America’s Morning News had a political ‘expert’ on this morning praising Romney; condemning Trump as a quack. Said Trump was un-electable but Romney has what it takes to defeat Obama.
...the drama begins...
Reagan was a democrat for years, and I Guiliani promised a pro life and anti gay marriage platform as Trump is doing... I would have supported him, frankly.
I don’t know Donald Trump to be intentionally dishonest, and he offers very clear examples of why he has switched to a pro-life platform, not least of which is his Christian faith and the lesson that friends who had unwanted children grew to adore them as God’s greatest gift.
You know, to me Trump is far more principled and frank about his platform and how he got there than Newt, Mitt, Huckster, et. al
And don’t tell me “Pawlenty”- guy’s go the personality of a parking meter lol
The pubbies have had the Trump points for as long as he has had them. The only thing is the front running pubbies can’t say them. They want to be all things to all people.
Trump is stating all of the things that we, Conservatives, spend hours screaming at our television for our so-called Repubic elected officials to state. Yet, so many people just willy-nilly dismiss him. Does that make much sense? Would I have considered Trump to be the ‘dark-horse’ candidate a year ago or two years ago? NO, he was not even in my realm of thought. However, he is addressing the issues that resonate with me. He knows when he’s getting screwed in a deal - does Obama or even Boehner?
I am open to his candidacy at this point. I find it a bit refreshing to see someone tackle the right issues head on without fear of possible MSM scrutiny - he just doesn’t give a damn. Good! Sure, he is no stranger to smokey, backroom, wink and nod deals - he could not have achieved what he has without the ability to maneuver the political scene. I find that insight to be a good thing. He knows how the machines operate. Given that he loves this country and is committed to preserving the freedoms and fiscal solvency of our nation, I think we may need someone like Trump.
I’m not going all in to support him yet. It’s too early and the field isn’t yet known. But, I will certainly listen eagerly to his views and await his performance in debates. I’m open to the idea of a President Trump.
I think every one of the possible GOP candidates - including both Huck and Mitt, who I would not vote for - has more personal integrity than Mr. Deal Maker, fast buck, reality star, casino operator, eminent domain vulture, comb-over boy.
He speaks the Truth. He challenges political correctness. He asks the questions that need to be asked. And Obama and his Chicago Thugs and the MSM will not be able to touch him.
I love it. Get the popcorn.
Um...no...trump can pound sand....he’s a RINO...I dont care what words he is saying to please you NOW...his record is support for dems including Hillery.
Trump may have trouble explaining to conservatives why, if hes against Obamacare... why did he contribute money to the re-election campaign of Anthony Weiner, one of the health care bills self-proclaimed authors?
If Trumps against gun control (or corruption for that matter), why the contribution to Charles Rangel, who rates an F on gun rights from the NRA (as does Weiner and others on The Donalds donation list)?
Trump says hes pro-life, but has given money to Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer two politicians who make thrills go up NARALs leg.
Trumps contributed money to the campaigns of Frank Lautenberg, Ted Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy, Harry Reid, Arlen Specter and Dick Durbin so much for the lower taxes concern. Could a true conservative have brought himself to sign any of those donation checks without slitting his wrists with the pen afterwards?

The Donald does what is good for The Donald, that is why he is successful. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a President that would do what was good for it’s citizens?
The Donald is a businessman first and foremost, not a politician. He will spread it around to make sure he has whoever’s ear he needs. He has one goal and one goal only, to make money.
And quite frankly, while all of us here knew Obama would be a nightmare, I don’t think anyone in their wildest imagination could have predicted this. Anybody who is honest, be it Republican, Conservative, Libertarian, Independent or even some Democrats have to be absolutely horrified by what is happening now.
