Trump quoted Obama's grandmother when she claimed to have witnessed Barack Obama's birth in Kenya, and Onyango says that is not true.....

A discrepancy in Toutonghi’s statements has lent some confusion to the exact dates during which she babysat for Barack Obama Jr.
WE NOTICED THAT!
Toutonghi told both WND and the Seattle Chat Club blog that she babysat for Barack Obama Jr. when her daughter was 18 months old and that her daughter had her 50th birthday ‘this year.’
NO SHE DIDN’T. SHE DIDN’T NAME THE CHILD - AND SHE CALLED THE WOMAN ANNA. BUT SHE DID SAY HER DAUGHTER WAS 18 MONTHS OF AGE, BORN IN JULY 1959.
That would have placed the babysitting around February or March 1961, several months before Barack Obama Jr. was born.

Toutonghi also recalled that she babysat for Barack Obama Jr. when he was 7 months old, which would have placed the time frame around February or March 1962, making this the more reliable recollection.
NO. SHE BABY-SAT FOR ANNA OBAMA, CHILD’S NAME NOT GIVEN, AND YES, IN AUGUST 1961 THAT CHILD WOULD HAVE BEEN SEVEN MONTHS OF AGE. SEE HOW THAT FITS WITH THE SUPPOSED COMMENCEMENT AT THE U OF WA AUGUST 19, 1961? (more than a month before the Fall semester commenced.)
When WND questioned Toutonghi not about the relation of her own daughter’s age to the babysitting she did, but about the months she babysat for Barack Obama Jr., she responded that the babysitting occurred in the spring of 1962, just before her husband bought a house and their family moved out of the 516 13th Ave. E. address in Seattle’s Capitol Hill area.
WELL...WHAT ELSE COULD SHE SAY? SHE HAD TO RETRACT HER ORIGINAL STATEMENT SOMEHOW
The Polk 1961-1962 directory also listed Dunham at the Capitol Hill address, supporting the conclusion she moved to Seattle to attend the extension classes.
THE POLK DIRECTORY CLEARLY LISTS ANNA OBAMA. NOT STANLEY ANN DUNHAM.
WND did the best they could with conflicting information, and when they received a transcript from the U of WA for;
OBAMA, Stanley Ann Dunham UNPROVENANCED BY E-MAIL COMMENCING AUGUST 19, 1961, they didn’t ask for a copy of the U of WA calendar...which shows commencement as September 25.
Could have saved everyone a lot of confusion, had they done that...we would then have known that the entire story was BUNK.

There’s a poster on another site with contacts in Seattle who claims that Stanley Ann’s old classmates recall her and the baby at a party in Seattle on Labor Day weekend, 1961. She supposedly told her friends then that they had met her baby before her parents in Hawaii ever saw him.
It’s a “friend of a friend” story, but interesting nonetheless.

Mary Toutonghi sure gets around. Two pages of links to her at the local paper. How is it that The Won influences such movers and shakers in the RAT world even as an infant? Mary helped campaign for Diane Benson who ran for Alaska governor in 2002, the House in 2006, and Alaska Lt. Gov. in 2010. Amazing how that circles back to Palin.

I kind of resent the attitude that we can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. No, eligibility isn’t the only question out there, but it IS fundamental if the Constitution is to mean anything. So, I really don’t understand a Constitutional scholar like Levin saying ‘it gets us nowhere.’ What is that supposed to mean? It doesn’t win ‘us’ the next election? “Us” being the GOP?

I’m very disappointed at Levin for his thoughts on this matter. As a constitutional scholar, it would be a ‘no-brainer’, no?
