As a longtime News Corp.-watcher, Prince-Talal-watcher, Talal-News-Corp-watcher, I'm not saying, I'm just saying:
Wednesday, March 30, 2011: James Murdoch, youngest son of Rupert Murdoch, "cemented his position as his father's eventual heir to run the entertainment conglomerate when he was elevated this week to the No. 3 position in the company's executive ranks." To help things set better, he's moving from London to New York.
April 4, 2011: Bill O'Reilly says Pastor Terry Jones "has blood on his hands" after Jones burns a copy of the Koran in Florida and Muslims in Afghanistan murder people.
April 4, 2011: To discuss the mayhem and murder that was the Afghan Muslim response to the burning of a copy of the Koran in Florida, Sean Hannity scheduled Zuhdi Jasser, whose "private" sharia is so irrelevant to classical Islam that his commentary is endlessly confusing at best, and Ahmed Bedier, longtime spokesmodel for a constellation of organization related and linked to such jihad groups as Hamas and Hezbollah,
April 6, 2011: Fox News and Glenn Beck agree to "divorce."
What connects these disparate incidents? Beside a short time-frame, I don't know. I do know James Murdoch is known for his trash talk about Israel (sez the Palestinians "were kicked out of their f homes and had nowhere to f live"), his green enthusiasms (News Corp. is the first entertainment conglom to be "carbon neutral") and for being a former hip hop impressario (wow; not my dream date). The 38-year-old is also very, very close to 56-year-old Prince Talal, and was Talal's choice to succeed Murdoch (chalk one up for Talal).
Not one to let politics to get in the way of profits, I am sure, it is also the case that as a Talal-pal (not to mention everything else), James is likely to keep certain things out of the way of Fox politics. I would imagine that Hannity's recent maiden voyages into "sharia" talk (bet that's all over with) and Beck's ongoing explorations of sharia and Islam don't fit his bill. That stuff's been buttoned up for ten years now on Fox; no reason to spoil a good brand now with free inquiry into the ideology that drives our mortal enemies....
Is it possible Glenn Beck was ousted from Fox by the same Saudi that offered Rudy "blood money" after 9/11? WOW.
Entirely possible. We won’t know until we watch what direction Fox goes over the next few years.
No doubt in my mind. Why we keep trusting these people is beyond me, their track record and belief system tell me all that I want to know. The photo of Pres. Bush being led by the faggot Saudi king by the hand was enough for me.
More stupid bullshit.
Absolutely ridiculous. Whatever Beck’s ratings were or weren’t, the fact of the matter is he couldn’t get any sponsors better than Goldline and PetMeds. For Fox, it was a simple business decision. Whomever they replace him with, will still probably crush the competition but they’ll do it without the advertising mishigas.
Money talks. Beck was a advertising revenue disaster.
>>>Is Diana on to something?
Tin-Foil hat wrapped on too tight.
Now we know... Cloward-Piven is alive and real..
And the FBI is eating donuts.. or masterbating national security..
Good on Beck and whatever he does before his eventual jailing.. as a political detainee..
Few seem to care, so far.. but I do..
No.
Was this thread posted as a diversion from the next 9/11 by Obama's CIA?
No.
Maybe Beck could apply for Federal funding like NPR? LOL
I have been telling people that Fox Al Waleed is not your friend. ALL of TV is not your friend. A quick refresher.
There are 6 parent company networks:
Fox/News Corp
TW/CNN
Disney/ABC
Viacom/CBS
NBC/CNBC/MSNBC/Universal - roughly 50/50% GE & Comcast
Bloomberg
They own 97% of ALL the channels including sports. Your cable/sat TV bill is divided up so each one gets roughly $5 to 6 bucks a month.
Prince Al Waleed is the Saudi King’s nephew. He is praised as a business genius but he invests Saudi Arabia’s money. They portray it as his money but he is working for his uncle.
He is the largest individual in News Corp/Fox, #2 in Disney/ABC, major in TW/CNN, has tens of billion in deals and joint ventures with GE where they fawn over him on CNN.
Viacom/CBS got his help on various Europeans deals like Kirsch in Germany. Okay now this is the key - you want to beam anything in the middle east satellites? You go through the Saudis. Wonder why Bloomberg push the 911 Victory Mosque? Access to the middle east.
Viacom MTV in Indonesia has 1 billion potential viewers. So ALL of TV is gonna pander to Islam, China (Murdoch married a ChiCom to help get and stay on the satellites there), and Obama.
So keep watching your ball games and BS because ALL of TV supports Obama and Islam. This is why. And if you think it is a big joke - enjoy when oil is $150 to 200 a barrel, the dollar is worthless and a gallon of gas is $5. Keep watching TV cause they is screwing you real good.
Although his research and putting forth all of the ties and hidden facts about the democrat party and leftists in general is what I liked about listening to him; I have to say that over the last year he has moved way to far from the Constitutional/political aspects into a series of intense religious screeds. He also has gone way into the concept of doom for the country is coming but we should just turn the other cheek, take no actions that might be inflammatory and prepare for the coming dissolution of Constitutional goverenment. That is BS! It very well may come down to a real fight and allowing the Republic and the Constitution to be dissolved because we supposedly can’t take actions that might violate the Constitution to protect and reestablish the Constitution is crap. The Constitution is not a suicide pact.
FUBO & FAD
I agree.
“... what direction Fox goes over the next few years”.
It may just be me but I’ve seen a change at Fox for the last year. It use to be more hard hitting, more detailed news. I see it now as the lesser of evils. Beck was the only one who truly dived into details and asked the hard questions IMHO. To be completely honest, I watch it rarely now since it became more “glitz”. I don’t care to watch a morning news channel, for example, that gives more time to “Spring fashion trends” than political/economic/global news.
“Was Glenn Beck Ousted From Fox by the Saudis?”
No he ousted himself by turning his Fox show into boring lectures (yes he provided info but it was still boring and too gloom and doom lectureized).
Burn the chalk board.
No. Beck was ousted because he called Soros a Nazi.
Really? I take that to mean the Dummy boycott worked then. Because he had good ratings. Wonder who they will try to take out now that they have one scalp?
I’m just shocked that it took this long for that speculation to come up! I thought that would be the first thing mentioned.
Oy.
Murdoh’s other son Lachlan is supposedly a real Christian but he pretty much walked away from the family business.
I have been telling people on FR this same info for over a year and people love to make fun of me for it. They would rather be Obama serfs as long as they get their daily dose of brainwashing from O TV in HD. Sad.
Actor Peter Finch speech in Network in so true about how TV makes or breaks anyone. ALL of TV supports Hussein. Fox AL Waleed is the lesser of all evils and is the bone they throw you to keep you watching TV and thinking you have a chance and are not living in a media police state.
I yanked the plug on O TV over a year ago.
Kelsey Grammer cannot get on any Sat or cable system for ONE channel for a conservative network. The one guy who could make that happen? Quiet cable billionare John Malone.
People here have no idea the money from the middle east and China.
Just my two cents.
I think Glenn plays better on the radio.
When he first started on Fox, he was able to control his wild gesticulating.
As time went by, his natural goofiness has turned some people off.
Personally, I think he is outstanding, and hate to see him go.
