We just received an e-mail a few minutes ago from Jeff Lichterone of the three individuals from the Arizona Tea Party delegation that met with Donald Trump in Manhattan, New York yesterday. The other two people from Arizona who met with Trump and his chief of staff Michael Cohen were state representative Carl Seel, and Kelly Townsend. There were 10-15 television cameras to cover the meeting.

Yes, they must have seen Huckabee and Bacchman caving about the shutdown.
This part of the article is interesting:
“2) To find out as much as possible what the Trump Organization already knew and what they still may not know about the entire eligibility issue.
The discussions allowed Lichter to ask Trump about the Obamas Kenyan grandmother who said President Obama was born in Kenya, and about whether he knew that the Kenyan Assemblyman, James Orengo stated on their Assembly floor that it is documented that Obama was a son of their soil. Trump apparently did not know that and asked Lichter to send him the documentation backing up these last two points.
Lichter also had the opportunity when he was discussing whether a real long form birth certificate existed for Obama to bring up some additional points. He asked Trump if he was going to take the issue beyond the birth certificate and bring up the question of natural born citizenship. Trump asked Lichter to explain to explain precisely what that was. Lichter proceeded recite the precise clause from Article II, Section I and explain what the founders meant by it; and where they got the concept from. He said that he liked the way he was explaining it and made another request of Lichter. He asked him to forward all relevant documentation on the above topics.
The topic of Obamas social security number came up. Lichter explained that Obamas social security number belonged to someone from Connecticut born in 1890. Trump acknowledged that they were aware of this. “
The best thing the Whigs can do right now would be to insist on tripling the Planned Parenthood funding...as long as EPA is eviscerated.

Bachmann didn’t cave. When one desires to use a different strategy to accomplish the same goals, that’s not caving.
Why am I beginning to sense that elements of the “Tea Party” are being lured into a big “Birther” trap? This whole thing is starting to look awfully good — almost TOO good....
It’s so good because the lame media covering for Obama made a house of cards that a fart could blow it over.
That's NOT how Mark Levin's taking it. He's not happy on his radio show.
He's calling your "use of a different strategy" CUT AND RUN!
Sorry for the caps I was just quote Mark Levin.
"CUT AND RUN, there I said it!"
Trump is definitely not up to speed on the finer points of “birtherism.” I’ve heard him make more than a few misstatements.
Doesn’t matter. There is no “TEA party” leader to be taken down.
Well, the Tea Party people think so
James Frost: "Sorry, but M. Bachmann just approved a budget compromise which is an insult to the Tea Party, the November 2010 election results, and pro-life advocates. Very disappointing stance by Bachmann."
Just curious, who's your candidate?
“Trump is definitely not up to speed on the finer points of birtherism.
But as long as he’s really interested and open to it, he’ll get a quick education. He was, as he often states, a very good student at a very good school, and he’s (hopefully) still a good student or he wouldn’t have come as far as he has.

Well, Mr. Frost is reading her WRONG then. She has said she will be voting AGAINST this budget compromise. That’s never changed. What’s she’s said is that the Republican “leadership” was making a strategic error by standing here with just a few billion dollars at stake, rather than throwing all their energy into crafting and standing for NEXT YEARS fiscal 2011 budget — which will be debated in the summer and implemented in the early fall. THAT’S when the Republicans need to be willing to “go to the mat.” That’s ALL Michele was saying. She was NEVER going to support this legislation anyway!
Frost’ analysis is simplistic and demonstrates a lack of depth and understanding of the political process — and of the principles of Rep. Bachmann.
Nobody has the right to speak for "the Tea Party"...there are so many of them!
