Trump is definitely not up to speed on the finer points of “birtherism.” I’ve heard him make more than a few misstatements.

But as long as he’s really interested and open to it, he’ll get a quick education. He was, as he often states, a very good student at a very good school, and he’s (hopefully) still a good student or he wouldn’t have come as far as he has.
