Didn’t Obama say he was born in Kenya on more than one occasion when he was a Senator?
I know there were at least two news articles describing him as a Kenyan-born candidate for IL state office. One of them was a Chicago paper.

“Kenyan-born” means “born to a Kenyan.” “Kenya-born” means “born in Kenya.”
