I have read as much to suggest that Beck is making this move on his own initiative, as to suggest that he is being forced out. He already has planned new ventures, to include his own TV network. That tells me he is moving of his own free will after a long planning and preparation period. And Murdock surely wouldn’t want to give up the revenue that Beck brings in.

If what you are saying is true, I will block Fox News on my TV just like I have blocked MSNBC.

But, I haven’t seen anything yet that indicates this is what happened. I have been noticing some subtle changes in Fox in recent weeks. If they keep it up and if they did stop Beck’s program...pooof!! They just destroyed their network.

People aren’t as stupid as the arrogant news media or this corrupt Administration thinks we are...of course, this doesn’t include the leftist liberals. The socialists in this country are pretty stupid.

Anyway, let’s give this some time to clear the fog of confusion and see what transpires. Then, we can make our decisions as to what happened to Beck’s show.

Beck is a kook, the Art Bell of politics... But as his many followers here on Free Republic prove, he can draw an Audience.

Fox is all about money and ratings and the hordes of fans Beck drew were just that money and ratings for Fox.

There is no grand conspiracy, Beck is launching out on his own, while developing future shows for Fox.

Fox wouldn’t push him out knowing his star was bringing in wads o cash for them, it’s foolish to think that.

Foxnews is a “news” network mixed with some news magazine shows. Put aside the left wing loonies rants Fox is not a right wing network. They understand that you can’t have an Olbermann and be considered serious news. Beck is to the point where his show could label Fox with MSNBC and those nuts so even if unfair Fox has to decide how to position itself.

FOX NEWS is now liberal news.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they're liberal, except for Shepard Smith, but people were exercising wishful thinking--or perhaps happily buying into the spin of the professional left--to think that they were rock-solid conservative. FOX is, and has been for as long as I can remember, neoconservative-leaning. One clue folks should have picked up on from the jump is how Murdoch and/or Ailes chose New York City as the new network's home base. Heck, even Ted Turner had the good sense to plant CNN in Atlanta! Sure, there's still Andrew Napolitano and a few people like that, but most of the regular analysts, as well as those anchoring shows, are neocons. O'Reilly, Hannity, Megyn Kelly, Baier, Kristol, Krauthammer, Barnes, and of course the parade of former Bush employees. They even have a large presence of true liberals, like Juan Williams, Mara Liasson, and Kirsten Powers, presumably to offer a counter voice to their "conservative" commentators, except that they have almost no true conservative commentators. Beck stood out like a sore thumb. I watch FOX because it's better than the alternatives, but I won't praise it for more than it is.

Fox News is not a charity or a non-profit. Beck might have a big audience, but like they’ve said, it’s becoming increasing impossible to find advertisers willing to be shown during the program.
It’s sad because he’s done some great work educating the public on the more nafarious aspects of the democrats & Obama, their socialist/communist agenda, and the problems facing this country, but at times I’ve watched his program and he’s way too emotional and histrionic for his own good. It’s fine to be passionate, but he’s kind of unstable sometimes and goes way too off topic when worked up.

I listen to a podcast called “No Agenda” by Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak. Both Curry and Dvorak seem convinced that Fox News is a tool of the Democratic Party.
