By the way, I remember as a boy going to visit some really old relatives who still had all the gas tubing for gas lighting in their living rooms and the gas lamps as well. By then they had switched over to electricity, but the use of gas for lighting wasn't that far in the past. When a truly better and cheaper way comes along, it's not going to matter who the powers that be are with vested interests, whether political or business, they're going to be swept away. True, some may be like that recalcitrant turd that requires repeated flushes, but they'll end up in the cesspool of history.
