You have to be desperate enough to want to believe that this is real, and then you have to have a device that puts so much energy out that you cannot ignore it, and you marry those two things together, and the skeptics are just blown away.We'll have them providing power as soon as someone actually makes it happen.
Some Italians made the claim again a few months ago in a press conference with little hwat-makes-it-work documentation.
If I see something other than an "that could be interesting" article and some real excitment across the news spectrum, I'll get my hopes up...

I believe the articles are stating 3 months for the very very first commercial small units (microwave oven size at 14KW) and a year for the megawatt version.
