Palin says that Christie is forced to cut budgets because NJ is broke. But she points out that when she became Governor of Alaska, she cut even though she had a surplus:

“Trolls Gone Wild” on this thread.

Sarah Palin is the only outsider candidate I know of for president. All the rest have insider-RINO credentials.

Christie was the Rudy Giuliani backed more liberal candidate in the GOP primary for NJ governor over the more conservative Steve Lonergan.

Palin wasn’t the first governor to deal with a determined opposition, contrary to what her whining may have led you to believe.

If she can’t handle being the governor of the 2nd smallest sate in population, what makes you honestly think she can handle being President of the greatest country in the world. Will she quit that job too because she can’t handle the pressure?

Christie got his wish, Al. Probably didn’t work out for him as he might have expected.

As fro me, I don’t really care which of these dwarfs steps up to challenge her. Every one of them has baggage, some like Christie and Huckabee and Gingrich have profound amounts of it that is already available via the net.

Palin alone has been thoroughly vetted and her “baggage” wouldn’t fill a thimble, even with a battleship thrown in for good measure. Let these nebbishes come out of the woodwork and the sooner the better. Christie just got a gentle jab in the gut. Let’s see if any of the others want to weigh in and ask for an unscripted moment.

There are no easy answers to that question.

At best, we have to locate and then get behind a candidate that the media will have great difficulty tearing apart, one who will anger the public against the MSM, to the point were it backfires on them.

This is an entirely new Demographic we all face in this new political world we find ourselves in.

Perhaps a candidate like West, or Cain, De Mint, etc, who the MSM will have great difficulty getting so dirty against; Who ever that may be, the main issue is, we need a completely fresh start from a candidate with a clean slate.

Also one who has Christie’s ability to fight back with an effective approach. Can there be such a candidate? I would say fervently, there is. We just have to get serious at finding them and getting them out for the apolitical public to learn who they are.

Right, Palin is the “only outsider candidate”, one who was formerly tightly alligned with and introduced to us by that illustrious “Conservative” Juan McCain.

And she later realigned herself with him during his campaign for reelection. Add her approval of amnesty and there you have it; Another pointless contradiction.

“can’t handle” makes it sound like there was an issue of capacity to do the job. That assertion is frivolous, specious, transparent, and intellectually dishonest on your part. Feel free to lie to yourself in an effort to assuage guilty feelings about your candidate of choice, but don’t expect others here to give you any quarter for your self delusions.

She’s taken on the Murkowski Machine of Alaska and that’s how she became governor and propelled herself to be picked by the desperate RINO John McCain to bribe the support of authentic conservatives.

You are talking to a 20 year Alaskan Resident. Be more spacific in how she took on the “Murkowski Machine” if you will.

“If she can’t handle being the governor of the 2nd smallest sate in population”

***********

That “second smallest state” is also the largest state in land mass and the richest in natural resources and the only state with two foreign countries effectively on its border.

One question to the newbie and budding little statist: Is it more difficult to manage a large state geographically or small state with a larger population?

The answer tells a lot about the person who gives it. If you think it is more difficult to manage a large state in population, you are more than likely a nanny stater who wants the government involved in way too many private decisions of the many citizens. If you think it is harder to manage a large state geographically, you are more than likely a constitutionalist. The fact is there are far greater PROPER responsibilities associated with governing a state the geographic size of Alaska which, if it were a country, would be the 17th largest in the world. Its huge landmass is over 50% larger than all of Western Europe (586,412 square miles versus 380,820) and possessed of far more natural resources as well.

You should know about her fight with the Murkowski’s that began on the Alaska Oil and Gas Commission when she saw the cozy relationship between business and government.

Randy Ruederich, the Murkowski chairman of the GOP in Alaska was caught violating the ethics rules and fined 10-thousand dollars.

In 2004, she supported Mike Miller against Lisa Murkowski in the GOP Senate primary and in 2010 she supported Joe Miller against Lisa in the GOP Senate primary.

By the way, back in 2004, the GOP insiders sent then Senator Rick Santorum out to Alaska to twist the Alaska Right To Life people not to endorse Pro-Life Miller over Pro-Abortion Murkowski.

Wonder why Rick is running for president in 2012??????????

But didn’t you know all the “other” conservative candidates are pure as the wind driven snow, above reproach and immune to MSM criticism?

The only person the media would have difficulty in tearing apart would be one who they approve of over Obama.

Even hillary was thrown under the bus, and she was a long time fave with the media. Just not as far leftist as the one.

You could find the strongest conservative, pure as the wind driven snow, and they would get hammered, relentlessly, 24/7, true or made up insults, stories, innuendo, whatever they could throw. Accuracy is not a requirement, simply to sway votes, and then for only a limited time, say the Tuesday in November, after that, who cares if they are found out?

You are talking to a 20 year Alaskan Resident. Be more spacific in how she took on the “Murkowski Machine” if you will.

Then you should know. She took a stand against the spending growth and the sweetheart deals with the oil companies. She ran for governor and whipped his butt:

"In 2006, when she was running to unseat then-Gov. Frank Murkowski in the Republican primary, Gov. Palin says she got a call from Ben Stevens, then president of the Republican-run Alaska Senate and son of U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, the powerful Alaska Republican. "He told me, 'You're not just running against Murkowski. You're running against me, my dad, the whole state Republican party,'" Gov. Palin says.

The younger Mr. Stevens didn't return calls for comment. He opted not to seek re-election after his was one of six legislative offices raided by federal agents in 2006. Four other state legislators have been sent to prison or are awaiting prosecution in the case, which has focused on bribery and other influence by oilfield contractor VECO Corp., whose chairman and a top lieutenant have pleaded guilty to bribery and conspiracy charges. The elder Mr. Stevens, who handily won the Republican primary this week to face re-election in November, was indicted in the case and has pleaded not guilty."

You are giving Palin the “Land Mass” credit again I see.

Unfortunately, 65% of that land is Federally owned which places her former Gubernatorial Jurisdiction into a much smaller category.

In fact, the State of Alaska is mostly supported and managed by the Federal Government and takes a great deal of the burden and responsibility of managing the State off of the Governors shoulders. If anything, it would have made her position all the easier.

Forget about it. For this one it is obviously personal. At some point the blood sucking takers expose themselves. In Alaska the takers occupied both sides of the aisle. I would be willing to bet that even at the height of Gov Palin’s popularity, this psycho still loathed her.
