Palin to Christie: Real Courage is cutting when you have a surplus – like I did

Palin says that Christie is forced to cut budgets because NJ is broke. But she points out that when she became Governor of Alaska, she cut even though she had a surplus:

As I’ve said, quite easily dismissed (and one example given). I’m sure there are those far brighter than I who could provide further, clearer examples that you would perhaps find more easily understood. However, I’m not as emotionally invested in the subject so I will leave it with you.

WTC, if 70 million Americans are STILL willing to vote for this proven Marxist trash, America is finished. We must hope that a sizeable number have seen the light, or more aptly, the darkness. Bob

Agreed. The media-savaging she has endured to date would pale in comparison. The results would likely be very enlightening either way. She would either prove she could handle the pressure, or not.

However, I would not argue against her having the opportunity to face the onslaught — if she so chooses.

You keep up with this lame excuse. You have no case. Period.

In truth, if Palin were the fighter and back boned President your cult claim she is, there would have been ample amounts of support and people who would have helped Palin fight her legal battles by donating to her legal fund. There was also a vast number of Attorneys who would have been glad to help her out.

Your claim that all of a sudden the legal issues stopped immediately after she quit, means just one thing; Those “Legal” battles were not that strong or big in the first place, or she would still be fighting them to this day.

It's quite obvious why Palin quit. She was planning a Lecture, Book Writing, FOX News Contributor, Money making career that paid Millions, without all the other hassle's. She wasted no time in paying off her debts that her own actions created for her in the first place.

That's a key point. ALL of Palin’s legal problems that she says, “forced” her to quit, were not only quite trivial, they were also something she brought on herself, through her gross mishandling of her Governorship. (Troopergate, etc,)

Then why did she pass on a second season of her hit show? Also she left Alaska better off then any other state with the most conservative Governor around. She did a better job in 2 years then Pawlenty did in 8.

My point is that Obama didn’t have coattails in Missouri in 2008. Missouri is a middle-of-the-road state. Now that you mention it, it’s a state I could easily see going for Obama if the other choice is Mrs. Palin. There’s an extra 11 electoral votes to bolster O’s re-election mandate.

If you are making a claim, then you have to back them up with a link for us to investigate. A source would also work, like Wikipedia, etc,,.

That's really a lame excuse but I'll do a little searching for you.

Nonstop assaults? A bit dramatic, don’t you think? When I post it is well thought out and reasoned. What is returned is jibberish. I do not need to explain this any further as all one must do is scroll through this thread a and see for themselves.

The entire State of Alaska has about the same population as Minneapolis and St.Paul alone for one. And your claim that she did a better job than Pawlenty is not only highly debatable, it is purely grandiose.

Palin did a great deal of damage to the Oil industry when she imposed a Punitive tax on production, when there was already a revenue sharing program in place that had been paying the residents of Alaska for over 25 years, since Jay Hammond created it in 1976. (See “Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend”.)

Palin’s senseless move, based on Populist ignorance, severely damaged Oil Production at Prudhoe Bay. She did this at a time when extreme costs to repair the Worn out pipeline, put a complete halt to Oil shipments and the added operating expense caused them to shut down.

It is only until recently that the new Governor lifted this
ignorant tax and the Oil companies can start producing at higher levels again.

I thought so, none of the so called “Proof” even comes close to the degree of your original claims. Let us say you “embellished” the rhetoric.

Did you ever consider the possibility that if you were fighting endless lawsuis instead of governing, maybe you’d feel like a frustrated lame duck as well?

_______________________

Problem is that she did not say this. She said that lame ducks waste the taxpayers' money on useless junkets and that she would not subject Alasan to this. That was her exact reasoning, not mine.

What say we deal with the facts instead of speculation?

PF, if you find a better candidate with a chance, let me be the first to know. I hope that in the future you can do better than label those with whom you disagree as part of a “cult”. Honestly, it’s laughable. Bob

Powder..patch..ball FIRE!

Your point is incorrect. I just posted the election numbers showing he pulled 250k more votes than Kerry. You entirely ignore the 2010 results where dems got their hats handed to them.

In 2012 there is going to be one less representative (3rd-D) due to redistricting and if Obama pulls more than 3 counties in the entire state I’d be surprised.

2010 Missouri is pure red republican.

Do you think this would be easier for her as President? As myself and many others have pointed out..she gave up the right to accuse other Governors of things such as “cowardice” when she left her own seat and the reason why ultimately doesn’t matter.

Her supporters also need to understand that posting the same pictures over and over and over and over only undermines their case. Enough w the damn photos! Let’s talk about how realistically she cam beat obama.

Just for you...

Just read a few of these “Palin Club” worship threads for yourself, and watch them immediately gush and coo. And anyone comes up with a realistic opinion that does not support her, watch the reaction and the hateful vitriol erupt.

It's right there for all to see. And it goes well beyond “Laughable”.

Mrs. Palin needs to be knocked out before she gets anywhere near a nomination.

And hence, by virtue of your admission, all the PDS activity on this board.

Next for GOP leaders: Stopping Sarah Palin

Good luck with that, loser.

Don't get too sure of yourself. It was the “Independent/Moderates” who pulled Missouri over to Republican in 2010. Palin does not do well with Independent/Moderates, all the polls clearly show that. (RCP, Rasmussen, etc,)

Using that fact, consider Christie if you will, in regards to Moderates and independents. They tend to LOVE what he is saying, as well as his straight forward way of presenting his position.

How else would Christie be polling so highly in such a short time as well as exposure?
