Reports: Gaddafi Has Left Libya, Fled for Venezuela
Pundit Press ^ | 2/20/11 | Aurelius

Update: In a press conference, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi tried to explain away the protests as a "plot against Libya" and "people on narcotics." He also stated that Libya falling would be "one thousand" times worse than Egypt falling. He also stated that "tomorrow" Libyans would create the Libya "we all dreamed of." If not, he continued, everyone "will pay."

In reports that are as of now unconfirmed, it is being reported that Libyan Dictator Muammar Gaddafi has left Libya. This could possibly mark an end to Gaddafi's regime, which has ruled the coutry with an iron fist for over four decades.

Protests have reached the capital of Tripoli, while various news sources are reporting that the government is "faltering." Even worse for Gaddafi, protesters now hold several cities; not streets or squares, but entire cities.

The German news site TT.com is now reporting that opposition groups in Libya are now saying that "Muammar Al-Gaddafi had to leave the country for Brazil or Venezuela." Al Jazeera refused to take on the issue straight on, but their reports suggested that Gaddafi is no longer in his country.

Doha, a news site linked with Al Jazeera, is reporting that Gaddafi has in fact fled the country.

I gotta give CNN their due...They are the only network who has been ontop of not only what’s going on in Libya today, but reporting on the protests and Iranian defections as well.

I am disappointed with FNC that they haven’t even begun to catch up by now.

“So the Obama people WERE involved?”

I’ve wondered how barry could claim title to World Leader with so much evil competition. How about a (very quick) game of elimination?

If anyone ever looked like they are on narcotics; it’s him.

Is it Gadaffi or Qadaffi? I thought it started with a Q all this time.

I really don’t understand what is going on. Regimes in power for decades are being toppled.

Is the CIA involved? They have been involved in the past to topple regimes...such as Indonesia.

Is Soros behind this?

How about the people who want the New World Order.

So who’s next????

It will be interesting to see how Obambi sticks his nose into Iran this time...since it was okay to topple Mubarak with protests.

It is spelled both and other ways. The problem is so much of these names and spellings haven’t been standardized yet in English. So it tends to be a lot like reading English from the 1600’s where it was common to spell the same word 3 different ways in a paragraph by educated people as long as the phonics worked it didn’t matter.

FNC has never had any skill at actual news gathering. Their opinions shows are their stock in trade. The “news” part of their day is useless, and probably the lowest rated.

It’s a matter of preference. There is no direct correlation of grammar, so however you sound it out, there will be some who will think it correct. I think I’ve seen it spelled at least a half dozen different ways...

Once life and your way of life is so hopeless then eventually the heavy arm of fear is broken, whether you will live or die’s , you are willing to die trying to grasp at freedom. The fear is nicely fitted at long last on the tyrant’s shoe, where it belongs. God be with the suffering Libyians.

Well, you heard what Soros has been saying recently?
He’s saying that he thinks that the Iranian Regime will not last another year. Now you tell me what you think is running through his evil nazi gnome mind, that he’d be saying that in public....even if he believes it’s true.
