Ron Paul, Donald Trump and others made CPAC a freak show. A political woodstock, with legalisation drugs and other stupid ideas. Sarah Palin was right to stay away. But in the madness their were a few bright spots. Rep. Kristi Noem's speech was great. People like this is what CPAC should be about. And not political dinosaurs like Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney.

CPAC has decended into irrelevancy. I’m not very fond of Noem’s views on Ethanol, but she seems to be solid on other issues.
Se voted no on the 22 billion cut yesterday.
She voted with the Dems, Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, Hal Rogers, et al. (’No’) yesterday on the $22 billion of additional spending cuts put forth by House conservatives.
Se voted no on the 22 billion cut yesterday.
Yes She Did. Didn’t take long for the GOP Lobbyist to turn her.
She’s from S. Dakota (Corn/Ethanol)so that vote shouldn’t surprise anyone. Aside from that, she’s “Hot”.

CPAC = “The Ron Paul Show Live!”
Establishment-lite.
I know she talks the talk most of the time, but there is something about this woman I don’t trust. Just sayin...My inlaws are from SD and think she is great. But most of the time when I feel this way...I am right.
Wow. Such a small mind! Did you watch the talks? I did!! All of them, and I enjoyed the chance to get people who self identify as conservatives give speeches.
I thought Michelle Bachman’s was the best, but I wouldn’t have known how good it was if I hadn’t seen the others.
Ron Paul’s was one of the worst, not just because of the content, but the delivery was horrible.
But still I would hardly describe the event as a “Freak Show”.
“She voted no on the 22 billion cut yesterday.”
Didn’t take her long to turn into a pod person. It is absolutely amazing how fast that washington cesspool turns all these republican promisors into turds
The party just suks
She voted no on the 22 billion cut yesterday.
Levin raked her over for that vote but I don’t know. The argument against it was that the cuts would be left up to the regime instead of being “specific”. Most of those “specific cuts” votes are going to get chewed up in the Senate. Unless they assemble these cuts it in a package (funding bill) our fearless incontinent leader can’t veto. It will bew as critics claim. An exercize in frustration and futility.
It seem posts on Congresswoman Noem should be subject to an FR picture rule.
Kristi Noem is up next on the Laura Ingraham radio show.
