With the 2012 Presidential election less than 24 months away, candidates for the Republican nomination are already sizing up their prospects. One of these is businessman Donald Trump. Though he has not stated that he is running, Trump has mentioned several times, including recently at CPAC, that he is giving it much thought.
Starting off as an upper-middle class child, Trump has been able to create a multi-billion dollar empire than spans much of the globe. Some say that this qualifies him as a good presidential candidate, as he could help revitalize the American economy. Others, however, believe him to be inexperienced or not conservative enough to be the Republican nomination.
Therefore, our poll today is: Would you Support Donald Trump if he won the Republican Nomination in 2012?

He would have to win the nomination first, and I think that’s highly unlikely.

I will vote for whoever is against Obama, even if it were a drunken John Laroquette, and hope for the best...but expect the worst.

Depending on his views on protecting the constitutional rights of the unborn. Yes, I will never vote for an pro choice candidate.

This is a ridiculous poll considering he hasn’t stated where he stands on many of the issues. No one can make an intelligent decision without that information.

Mitt Romney was a successful businessman in 2008. Donald Trump is a successful businessman in 2012. If either are Republicans at all, they are from the New England / Dewey / Rockerfeller / Bush wing of the party.
Find them both a nice cabinet post if they help elect a real conservative like Sarah Palin or Herman Cain as president.

It isn't going to happen but I would have reservations voting for this RINO who made all of his “fortune” from his father. He cannot ever run a casino without losing boat loads of cash.

There’s something about Trump that I simply don’t like. Just can’t put my finger on it...

Yes. ..would hold my nose; but would vote for him; but do not think he has a prayer to win that one.
Do not think America ready for a 'Sarkozy/Carla' like couple in WH; but, it could be worse. .. much worse.

No. His RKBA stance is abysmal. That is my “line in the sand” issue.

On an important note. Dan Fielding is a drunk? I didn't know he was still around.
