It does appear that former governor and GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah “you betcha” Palin will be throwing her beauty pageant sash into the presidential ring. She has added veteran Republican strategist Michael Glassner to serve as chief-of-staff for her political action committee, Sarah PAC, and steer her political operation. For the political insiders this is the strongest indication yet that Sarah Palin is seriously laying the groundwork for a serious bid for the white house. Unfortunately, she is probably the most disastrous of the current crop of possible GOP hopefuls and in my humble opinion would stand absolutely no chance in the general election. I will even venture to say that I don’t think she’ll make it out of the primaries. She is mistaking the general support the Right gives her as a person of character and cheerleader Tea Party as political support for a presidential bid. I submit to you the two are not the same and she will find this out the hard way. And if by some miracle she were to get the nod to lead the Republican party into the next general election we will witness a most embarrassing of electoral trouncings since Mondale got crushed by Reagan.
I defend Palin vigorously from the hatred and smears from the Left and admire her commitment to what is right and true. For the most part I share her politics, values, and ideology. And I think she makes a great fundraiser and cheerleader for the Right in general and the Tea Party in particular. But she had her chance for glory and success on the national stage and frankly blew it.

Sarah is the MAN!
It is true that the mainstream media has and continues to thoroughly trash Governor Palin. The mainstream opinion of her as a stupid pretty fool is widespread, especially among Democrats.
HOWEVER, Democrats don’t vote for conservative Republicans.
And Sarah has an ace up her sleeve: she is the ONLY Republican who doesn’t either equivocate on issues, wait for other bigwigs to first give their opinions before saying anything, or kiss the butts of anyone in power. She doesn’t care if she won’t get into the suavest cocktail parties, she isn’t scared to death to be caught on the wrong side of an issue, she doesn’t cave in to public shaming, and she doesn’t feel that she needs to keep silent in order to appear above the fray.
FIND ANOTHER CANDIDATE with the b*lls to say what she says, fearlessly. FIND ANOTHER CANDIDATE who is not ashamed of her own beliefs.
There aren’t any in the crop of Republicans. She’s it.
I’m not backing either Huckabee, Mitt or Newt. Period. I’d take Governor Palin over Obama anytime.

She wins if the independents want her to win. We alone won’t be deciding her future I’m afraid, and when she goes to the middle to get them, everyone here will be pretty pouty.
Yep, and as a realist, I saw through it. But, as the same realist, I can see that they were rarely successful with Ms. Palin and she has zero chance at success. I know this NOT based on what the MSM says, but what I've found with talking to Republican voters in 39 states over the last few years; she's ruined and it's one of the few successes of the MSM over the last few years.

The way Palin will be attacked is like this. Through hit-pieces in support of other candidates.
If she runs, she will mop the floor in primary debates with these cowards, who send out their hit piece writers. Her revenge will be the primary debates, when it’s Sarah vs the cowards.
Who says she’s poor presidential material.
