Economic Collapse Preparedness: What to do? (End of USA preparedness)
Surviving Argentina ^ | 1-26-2011 | Ferfel

Posted on 01/28/2011 9:45:11 PM PST by Frantzie

It was during that conversation with Ray a few days ago that he nailed me with that question. We had been talking for about an hour about how things went down here in Argentina, the similarities, inflation, how “shopping carts” keep getting more and more expensive, how crime affects your lifestyle. But what to do? The person now gets it, the person not only understands the wisdom in preparing for disasters large and small but comprehends that due to the current economic situation, life in general is going to change from now on, unemployment, inflation, loss of life quality in general, crime. But now what?

Here is a very short article on what you will need to try to survive the coming end of America. This is based on a book written by someone who survived in Argentina.

We are already seeing this in America as the middle class is rapidly shrinking. People have lots of false hopes but the sinking will continue. The time to start prepearing is now because gas may go to $6 soon.

Ferfal is a FReeper - he’s out there somewhere.

Anyway, gas just went up 9 cents on Friday, so it is beginning. This stuff in the Middle East is a NIGHTMARE. Tomorrow morning I top off my fuel supplies and food. Things will soon get MUCH WORSE.

End hell.

Texas will refuse to participate. We could if we choose be totally self-sufficient as a state.

I want none of that, but I want the Commie scum trying to destroy us, removed, charged, tried, convicted and sentenced.

The sooner the better.

Texas? With what? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey and John Cornyn? The state elects open-border RINO and LBJ Repub scum.

Try electing some real conservatives and get back to me. Texas has all the natural resources but the people voted like NY Lite. Rick Perry and the rest are a POS.

Ferfal knows his stuff. Americans are going to shocked. Most worry about ball games, reality TV shows and 2 1/2 Men.

FerFal’s writings on how the Intl Banks plundered Argentina and the aftermath should be required reading as it is the most chilling account one could ever imagine..and it was real.

Food price inflation, how banks froze money then replaced it with money that was worthless, shut down ATM’s.

Now I don’t think we will see a general decline into chaos and de facto Redoubt like homes with courtyards and bars on the windows, however some of what he recounts is happening right now as we worry about everything but it happening.

There’s a good documentary on the Argentina economic collapse on YouTube. Part One is at:

So am I.

Ordered 28 new trees for the orchard and 4 new blueberry plants on Monday.

Plan to buy some Barred Plymouth Rock pullets in a couple of weeks.

Don’t need any of them now, but I think it is worth the effort to be cautious.

Am I paranoid? No.

Just cautious. And trying to be optomistic.

I have no use for KBH and Cornyn.

I know about all of Governor “Rick’s” warts, he is from my county. I know his father and mother, although I have never met Rick. (he is slightly younger than I am)

He had done some real bone headed things, but a leftie he is not.....

I know Texans and Okies very well. Enough good people left to see that we don’t implode like the Blue Death Zones. And many will fight to the last breath to oppose tyrrany. Even some old farts in that group.

Could that be because people are flocking to our cities from broke blue states?

I saw Ferfal’s blog before - it is excellent. Full of useful tips. For example - people buy gold, but how is gold bar going to help you when SHTF? Better to have small pieces, like links on a necklace, that are more easily used as cash

Thanks for reposting it.

Rick Perry is not Farook Shami or Bill White.Sometimes I think I should have voted for Kinky Friedman.
He would at least be benign. He would make Wille Nelson the energy czar and they would both be so stoned they would never pass any legislation, but they would wear cowboy hats, play guitars and smoke cigars.

Rick Perry was our best option.

I liked Kinky’s idea for the Mexican Sheriffs, only it would have to be a lot more than $1,000,000 per.
