It’s erupted three times in 2,000,000 years.
If it erupts next month, it won’t be early.
If it doesn’t erupt for another 10,000 years, it won’t be late.

Man is not responsible for this truth. This is indeed possible.
America and Americans will mostly not survive, a few here and there, according to winds and whether there is any air to breath that is not full of huge amounts of volcanic ash.. There is little too nothing other than pray that we can do regarding this. It would have devastating effects all over the world. One might even say this might be ... The day the world changed forever.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.

Nothing I am concerned about for our lifetimes that’s for sure, and probably serveral more generations, if the mechanisms that trigger it are still cyclical and in motion.
I don’t sweat this kind of thing. More worried about an EMP.

Media predictions for disasters in the next two year:
1. Superstorms arise from the Pacific wiping out California.
2. Yellowstone erupts wiping out 2/3 of the United States.
3. Betelgeuse goes supernova wiping out the world.
4. Sarah Palin elected wiping out the entire universe.

Now everyone is just sitting around looking for every little thing to kill them.

I guess the forthcoming gigantic explosion will sorta confirm the Westboro Baptist Church’s riff that “God hates America.”
On the other hand, Fred Phelps and the WBC congregation probably won’t be around to celebrate, since Topeka would seem to lie within the zone that gets buried in ten feet of volcanic ash!
